there is no air conditioning. limited reception hours can become an inconvenience, otherwise location is good. parking is a few minutes walk away

I'm a 64 year old semi retired American male, who travels solo. I check to "amenities" boxes when I book hotels - free WIFI and a sauna. Burghotel has both, and much more. I tried to upload room pics, but I'm on a train, and having upload issues, so they may not come through. I arrived after reception had closed for the day, but I'd received an email with directions to get my key from a simple combination locked panel, next to the front door. No issues letting myself in. Read the plastic coated instruction sheet in your room, carefully. I didn't, and needlessly bothered the owner for the WIFI password, which could not be more obvious, at the bottom of the sheet. My single room was quiet, secure, and clean. There is a mini-refrigerator in the room, which I don't think was working, but that's not something I'd debit a star for. I don't use mini-bars, anyway. By all means, check out the pool, weight machine, showers and especially the sauna, in the basement. Absolutely invigorating, after a day of hiking around Nuremburg. If I return to Nuremburg, I will stay at Burghotel. MD, Panama City, Florida, USA May, 2026

The hotel is expensive with bed not comfortable. Room is small. Not accessible and far from train station.

Great breakfast, friendly staff which allowed us to leave our luggage as we had a late flight. Nice touches with the sweets on the pillow.
