We loved the quirky decor and 'American diner'-type vibe, which was fun but tasteful. Our ground-floor room was large, comfortable, and incredibly clean, almost 'as new'. The air-con was very efficient and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety. The location was good, although in the heat, it felt a bit of a walk into the centre of Bamberg. The host was friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Hotel is centrally located and a short walk from the town square and important sites. The room was good sized and well appointed.
The location is right across from the college library. While not an issue during our stay, it is unclear if added noise might occur at times due to this location. Also, there is really no privacy on street facing rooms as the library looks directly into the windows. Not an issue, but if you want the windows open it could become one.
