A few days in Heidelberg

No better location if visiting the old town. The hotel also has a restaurant on the first floor with many good German dishes to try, highly recommend.

Stay here - darling, clean, comfy. Great location.

Great location. This is a darling place. We had the family room with windows that opened above the town square (and Christmas Market). Fabulous! Upstairs from a lovely restaurant - so cute/and so festively decorated. Wonderful breakfast buffet in nice eating area. Restaurant had good options and very nice staff. I wished we had stayed longer.

Amazing stay with lovely friendly staff in a perfect location.

The location of the hotel was 10/10. We literally stepped out of the hotel into a Christmas market which was very special. The beds were incredibly comfortable - the rooms would benefit from a little decor upgrade but they were clean and comfortable. Our only criticism was the floor was not level in the room. It's as if there is a bit of subsidence. The breakfast was divine and kept us full until dinner time. Lots of choice and buffet style which is lovely. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location next to the castle, breakfast amazing, restaurant spectecular worth to try during your stay. Super huge bedroom, staff super polite and kind.

Moderately priced old-style hotel at an excellent location on Hauptstraße in the Altstadt.

Superb location in the Altstadt and close to the university. In the midst as well of the Christmas market. The restaurant is also very good.

Location and onsite restaurant were excellent. Rooms clean and spacious coffee, tea and refrigerator in room. Nice comforters.

Great location to explore old town of Heidelberg

A lovely welcome and our room was spacious and reasonably comfortable, although the lounge could be upgraded to a more comfortable one. The wifi worked well, and the breakfast had several choices. The location is excellent for exploring the old town part of Heidelberg - we walked to everything once there.

One of the staff wanted to argue over whether or not we were entitled to the welcome drink that is offered to guests on a notice in their room. After I emailed via Booking.Com, the manager responded quickly and advised that we were, and a glass of prosecco for each of us was left in our room (whilst we were out for dinner!). It was unpleasant at the time from this one person whilst all the other staff we encountered were very nice.

Excellent location next to the church. Lots of space, clean and large bathroom, extra futon, and nice sitting area with view of the plaza.

Good stay in Heidelberg

The location is excellent, right in the old town square pedestrian zone. Parking in a public car park is located around the corner, approximately a one-minute walk away. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the town square. The room was very good, but it did not have facilities for tea or coffee, which was a disappointment. The breakfast was good with many choices.

Great location in the city centet of wonderful Heidelberg. Small and nice family hotel. Tadtey breakfest with a large veriety of options. Homy feeling. Large room. Comfortable beds.

A Charming and Comfortable Hotel for the Heidelberg experience.

We loved being right in the heart of charming Heidelberg. The location was perfect. Close to the bus stop, the train to the castle, and all of the shops and restaurants. Our room on the top floor had views of the castle and of the plaza below. We had nice amenities like coffee in the room. Very charming. Another family member had another room on a lower floor. No coffee in there, but nice spacious room with a view of the plaza. The restaurant was very good and it was nice that breakfast was included. We also had a very good dinner there.

Second time to stay here and I will book here again when I return to Heidelberg.

The location is wonderful. Breakfast is provided. Parking garages are nearby. AC was in the rooms on the 4 th floor. Wonderful restaurant and option to sit outside in the Markplatz to eat. We loved the rooms that overlook the markplatz. Family suite and delux double on foith floor was perfect for one of our family units. The rest of our group was in triple rooms and the corner double room overlooking the markplatz!

If this is your first time to Europe, be aware that many “non chain “ hotels do not have AC . It’s just what it is.

Location right near Kornplatz and alt stadt. Nice comfortable room, great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

A very nice hotel in a great location

The staff was OK. The size of the room very good. The location of the hotel was excellent. Located in the main town square. The view from our room (number 45) was more than excellent. We had an excellent view of the castle, especially when lit up a night! The hotel has a restaurant. A good bathroom with a very nice bathtub.

The breakfast was limited in choices. The room had a slanted ceiling with a beam that you had to be careful of when getting into bed.

Comfiest bed and pillows ever. Superb location and view from room. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Parking just a minute or two’s walk away. Next to all the shops cafes, beautiful church etc. Heidleberg is lovely.

I chose this hotel for the central location - it can be reached by taxi from the train station within ten minutes. The room was very clean and the staff were professional. The breakfast had a good range of choices.
