Overnight before the ferry

The hotel is located just off the motorway. We stayed just one night before taking the ferry. Majority of other guests appeared to be doing the same thing. It’s fine for this kind of overnight. Possibly not for a longer stay

The hotel has a very convenient location near the motorway. The staff is nice. There is car park with a lot of spaces available, and the rooms are quiet, clean and quite large. The breakfast is good and the dining area spacious and close to the swimming pool.

The hotel is located in a industrial area, and it might be a bit complicated to find your way to the hotel. The area is busy in the morning.

Nothing really. Thought hotel was shocking

VERY VERY OVERPRICED! Room very dated, Not very clean, towels were like old rags, cramped bathroom, couldn't hook shower head on wall as fitting broken, toilet wouldn't flush away properly, communal areas dirty, carpets badly stained, breakfast is a joke! Small area for a lot of people to self serve so like a cattle market! Coffee from machines is disgusting. Would never stay again. We stayed in Double Tree By Hilton in Venice and was cheaper per night!

Great facilities for kids

Very helpful and nice staff-gave great advice for the local must sees, room was good for us 3 and the foldable sofa already prepared for sleeping, liked the canteen like breakfast buffet-with trays which made it easy to grab what you need in one go. Fantastic indoor play area with books and all for kids-close to the restaurant to borrow a book for the meals, small playground outside

Location is right next to the motorway what makes it quite noisy outside in the pool area/playground

the receptionist at 2am brought us up a ventilator and this helped slightly.

the common areas and private rooms were clean and comfortable. the staff were friendly and helpful

the room we stayed in was too hot - they had not yet transitioned from heating to air conditioning. we did not sleep well because of this and when we opened the window we had the traffic noise that’s quite loud!

A lovely stay in a great location.

The location is excellent - only a five minute walk into the centre of Troyes. There is also a particularly nice bar just round the back of the hotel which makes up for the lack of restaurant and bar facilities in the hotel.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Compared to other IBIS Styles hotels I have stayed at the facilities are more limited, which I wasn't expecting (e.g. there is no restaurant, pool or bath in the room), and having stayed in the IBIS over the road I am not convinced that the extra charge is entirely worth it, but it was still a very nice place to stay and the cost is not unreasonable.
