Gold beach with the Mulbery Habour
Great location, in the heart of the village of Arromanches-les-Bains. Lovely new museum for the temporary Mulberry harbour built for the Allies planned for D-Day. Like most little villages you can’t park in front, there are two car parks (free over night) charging from 0900 - 1900. 2.5€ an hour outside those times. We have overnight bags for France as you often have 19c homes with little staircases, indeed this was the case here. Worth the climb for the wonderful view of the beach and the remnants of the Mulberry harbour artificial port. King size bed firm but comfortable (better than most French beds - from my Australian point of view) There is a coffee machine that takes the soft round dose sachets. Good coffee at the little cafe. All the cafes and restaurants were excellent.

We loved our stay!
The location of this property speaks for itself. You sit at the window overlooking the ocean and history of this town. Numerous restaurants and bakeries minutes away.. the room itself was very comfortable and quiet. A 10 out of 10
Too short a visit

I always ask myself the question, "would i stay here again" and the answer is Yes i would!
Location was superb, you could not get closer to the beach, and the very short walk from the local shops. Car parks were a short walk away, and it was great once we had sussed out the overnight parking.
There was nothing not to like, a most enjoyable stay

Excellent place to stay while exploring the D-Day sites.
Excellent place to stay while exploring the D-Day sites. The views are spectacular and we loved staying on the beach, listening to the waves and watching the tides. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has very nice bathrooms. The bunk bed room is best for kids or people who are limber. The kitchen is small but works well for making simple meals on the two burner stove.
Our only suggestion would be to add instructions and recommendations for where to park to the property’s emailed check-in arrival information.

Good for a couple, a bit of a compromise for 4 adults
The property description lacks very important information. The shower room is only accessible from the main bedroom. The room with the elevated bed, which has steps to get into it is not for older people and it has a toilet and basin. The access stairs are compact so care is needed getting up to the entrance on the second floor. The view from the front windows to the sea are excellent and proximity to cafes, restaurants and the local shops is good. Parking on the main will cost in the local car parks

Apartment met our needs as base to explore the Normandy beaches
Lovely position with excellent view. Central location
Difficult to access if mobility issues. Left early because of noise of machine tools above our apartment most of day and evening.
