La posizione è imbattibile, con tutte le finestre che si affacciano sulla spiaggia di Arromanches-les-Bains. L'appartamento, posto al secondo piano e accessibile solo tramite scale, è veramente accogliente, pulito e ben tenuto. E' presente una cucina attrezzata. La camera principale è spaziosa e gode di una splendida vista, la seconda ha il letto soppalcato e seppur comodo potrebbe creare qualche disagio ad una persona alta di statura. Il check in è stato facilissimo grazie alle puntuali e complete spiegazioni ricevute dall'host. Il parcheggio pubblico a pagamento è vicinissimo all'appartamento e facilmente raggiungibile. Noi siamo rimasti due notti, ed è un peccato perché l'appartamento (e la località) meritava una sosta più lunga.

We arrived in Arromanches late morning having travelled on the overnight ferry from Cherbourg. Our hosts very kindly allowed us to check-in at midday rather than their standard 4pm check-in time. The appartment was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was amazing, overlooking the sea and in the centre of Arromanches.

As the appartment was on the second floor it was a little challenging getting our luggage up the two flights of stairs. This however would not stop me booking this appartment in the future. We also found parking our car wasn't straightforward, with a few expensive carparks and various parking restrictions. We were however directed to a free carpark at the Tourist Information centre. This was only about a 5 to 10 minute walk from our appartment and was perfect for our stay.

The property description lacks very important information. The shower room is only accessible from the main bedroom. The room with the elevated bed, which has steps to get into it is not for older people and it has a toilet and basin. The access stairs are compact so care is needed getting up to the entrance on the second floor. The view from the front windows to the sea are excellent and proximity to cafes, restaurants and the local shops is good. Parking on the main will cost in the local car parks
