Lovely Property Ideal Location

The apartment is an ideal location for all D-Day museums and beaches. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed.

The only downside which is nothing to do with the host. As the apartment is in the town centre, you have deliveries happening below at about 5am every morning which can disturb your sleep.

This property was in the perfect location. It overlooks the English Channel. The beds were comfortable.

The shower smelled horrible. The host was non communicable about major issues. Then decided to retaliate against us.

Great location

Excellent location, right across the beach and near the museum and main street. Lots of space and comfortable with good facilities in the middle of Arromanches.

The property ad says the owner meets you at the property. This is not the case, you enter via a keypad code, and there was a delay in the owner sending us this code on the day. The shower head also leaks which should be fixed.

I can’t rate our stay at the appartment highly enough.

Nothing could have been better, the Appartment was right in the centre and so close to all amenities and had everything we needed. We have been visiting arromanches for approx 15 years now and this is by far the best accommodation we have had. If allowed on our next visit we would fefinitely choose the appartment again.

Extremely difficult to locate property, host unhelpful at best. Took us half an hour and three interpreters to find the location, which is not numbered. Host speaks very little English.

There was a miscommunication between me and the host. He thought he had sent me a message with a pin for entry to the key box. The pin I had was not the right number to get into the key box.

Amazing location, had all the basic utilities we needed, great price and responsive host. Loved being right next to the beach and several restaurants and shops. Cider farms and all the other d'day beaches a short drive away, 20 min from the Bayeux tapestry and only 2 hours from mont st Michel and the cliffs of étretat. A wonderful, (small, simple and affordable were what we wanted) place to stay for a family vacation in Normandy.

There was a very strong odor coming up through the pipes (host let us know it was rare and due to the tides). It lingered for most of our stay. We also did hear voices in the street very clearly, especially on Saturday night

Functional but was not given entry code for lock box and initially could not get key still don’t have the code . Municipality building a museum where car park was and huge crane there with work starting at 7 am

Too many stairs both entering and once inside the property.

Lots of windows and close to the ocean. Right in the center of the small village. Parking was a little tricky, but it was available.

VERY difficult to find. Steps to sleeping area very steep and cumbersome for luggage. My husband slipped and fell down the final 4 steps, luckily was not injured badly enough to warrant a doctor's visit. Should have warning on listing as we would have done something different as we are 78 and 76 years old!

Tolle Lage direkt am Meer vor dem Museum. Zentral. Gemütlich eingerichtet.

Die Wohnung roch sehr feucht, erstmal Fenster aufreissen In der Dusche sah es aus, als wäre am Rand schwarzer Schimmel. Das sollte bereinigt werden. Leider liegt die Wohnung in der Restaurantmeile, Nachts war es sehr laut, Lieferanten beliefern die Restaurants und am Museumsplatz gab es ein Rockkonzert bis Mitternacht. Parkplätze sind auch schwer zu finden. Ab 9 h 2,50 €/Std. Die Kommunikation war sehr verzögert, sodass auf Fragen entweder garnicht oder nach 24 Stunden geantwortet wurde.

God beliggenhed

Lejligheden havde masser af plads og der var rent og pænt. Køkkenet var veludstyret, og der var mulighed for at lave egne måltider, hvilket vi dog ikke benyttede os af. Sengene var fine og vi sov godt. Lejligheden ligger lige overfor D-Day museet, så beliggenheden er rigtig god. Der er også adskillige restauranter lige nedenfor lejligheden.

Lejligheden er lidt slidt og vinduerne sluttede ikke helt tæt, hvilket i princippet ikke var et stort problem, men der var "gang i den" med levende musik på pladsen udenfor, og det var svært at lukke lyden ude. Jeg kunne have ønsket mig, at håndklæderne til gæsterne var mindre slidte (de var rene, men slidste). Nye (evt. hvide) håndklæder kunne have løftet indtrykket af lejligheden. Mindre detalje, men blot feedback til ejerne af stedet.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié: L'emplacement face à la mer et a proximité immédiate du musée d'arromanches, la literie, l'équipement et la taille du logement qui étaient au top.

Nous n'avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner correctement la télévision.
