Villas D. Dinis - Charming Residence (adults only)

We stayed here in August 2026 and really liked it. It cost about €250 per night for 4 nights but overall we felt it was good value. Location wise it is very good. It is very close to Praia Dona Ana and right on the lighthouse boardwalk trail. It is about 20 minutes walk to the main Lagos town but we found this fine and a good thing in some ways. The facilities are nice. We were put in a slightly different villa across the road from the main complex. We were worried originally but it worked out well with a private pool shared with maybe 6/7 other rooms and nice simple accomodation. The complex generally has loads of mini sub villas like this, each with its own pool. The rooms/apartments are basic but have most things you need (not cooking facilties though in case looking to cook yourself). They give a free bottle of wine which is a nice touch. Really liked the breakfast which was included. A lot of hot and cold options (self service). Overall, really liked it.

Just to note more so, it is 20 minutes walk from the main town which we found fine. No cooking facilities in case you want to cook.

Room was lovely and big. Pool were small but nice, plenty of loungers. Breakfast was clean and fresh, staff very attentive. Praia do Porto de Mós beach was phenomenal, 30 minutes walk away with sun loungers for rent.

Air conditioning could have been stronger.

Lovely gardens with two small pools. Delightful flora.

There is nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent location was good - walking distance for most places reasonably quiet was on street parking which was easy complementary bottle of wine was a nice touch

Decor was a bit tired Room was tucked around back and whilst private was lacking in out door area to the pool Could have been cleaner
