    Trying to find the actual entrance to Oaks Brisbane Casino Tower Suites and the reception area was an absolute nightmare. There is no parking out the front due to it being close to a corner and in a turning lane, which made check-in extremely stressful. After finally locating the entrance, the staff member at reception was lovely, friendly, helpful and understanding, which was honestly the highlight of the experience. We then needed parking for two cars, which cost $50 per car for one night. Trying to actually find the carpark was another nightmare. Once we finally located it, the security guard at the entrance accidentally directed us to the wrong level and then had to come running up after us to explain we needed to go even higher. The carpark itself is extremely tight and small, so if you have a larger vehicle you would definitely want to be a confident driver. Getting luggage from the carpark to the room was also difficult. There were steps to navigate and no trolleys available to help move our bags, which made the whole process exhausting. When we first entered the room, we initially thought it looked nice, but after a closer inspection we were very disappointed. The unit was dirty and smelt unpleasant. We had to wash dishes ourselves because dirty dishes had been put back into the cupboards. There were dirty marks and damage all over the walls, and the laminate on the kitchen cabinets was badly damaged. The bathrooms had mould and soap scum throughout, and the balcony was absolutely filthy — so dirty that we didn’t even want to spend time out there. Overall, while the reception staff member was wonderful, the lack of clear access, difficult parking, and poor cleanliness of the room made this a very disappointing stay.
