Stayed 3 nights. Didn't see many people. No staff. This was fine with me, i had no need. Great location. Nice cafe next door. Right on the #11 tram. Beautiful park directly across the street.

Could have used a steam iron. Saw it in the common room on day 1, but someone took it and didnt return. Minor issue, but you asked...

Prachtig gebouw met heel wat geschiedenis. Het ontbijt is luxurious. We werden uitgenodigd om (gratis) een Jazz concert bij te wonen en we hebben genoten van deze ervaring.

De matrassen en de bedden zijn aan vervanging toe.

I really liked the location and the charm of a historical building that’s been nicely renovated. I liked the self check-in system, and the locked gate and coded front door gave a reassuring sense of security. The vintage room decor was a nice touch, though the rooms do feel a bit tired and could use a refresh.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel hosts private parties on weekends. During our stay there was a loud party, but luckily our room was on the far side of the building and we didn’t notice the noise. I do feel sorry for anyone staying closer to where the party took place, especially since the front door and gates were open during the event, meaning anyone could enter. Overall, it’s a hotel with great character and location, but weekend parties and slightly worn rooms will put some people off.
