Great value, extremely friendly, great breakfast

Really clean. Good location - plenty of on street parking, lots of cafes and restaurants. Great value. Staff were really friendly. Would recommend / stay again.

Church bells tolled on every hour and half hour - didn’t wake me but did wake my companion. No kettle. Not sure if there was wifi for guests, we weren’t given the password, didn’t ask as just used 4G.

Very nice decoration (nautical themed). Nice bar and restaurant with fair prices. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds. In the middle of the village with supermarket, shops, restaurants.parking (off season) was easy.

Room was relatively small. Some amenities were missing (e.g., shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer).

Ok place to stay a night

The Boekanier has a nice bar, a great breakfast and excellent staff.

The room could be cleaner (sand on the floor), some (electrical) appliances didn't work. Food was ok-ish but overprized.

Very nice little hotel with an exceptional restaurant

The location of the hotel is superb. Very nice little village with all necessary amenities. A restaurant in the hotel is exceptional, although a bit expensive. The breakfasts served were varied and tasteful. The apartment itself was spacious, nicely-decorated, well-equipped and clean. A private parking place was highly appreciated.

I would have appreciated a few cleaning products in the kitchen (cloth, sponge, washing up liquid). The ventilation in the bedroom was somehow poor, because it was possible to open only upper part of the windows. We had to open the door to the bedroom and the main door to get some fresh air on a hot night. But this was only a minor nuisance which did not spoil the overall stay.

Nice staff, good food near parking facilities. The breakfast was really good.

I liked most things, but next time i would bring my own pillow with me. The one they have there was a bit flimsy. But this is personal preference.

Schönes Ziel für ein verlängertes Wochenende

Kennen dieses kleine Hotel nun schon ein paar Jahre, immer netter Empfang und freundliches Personal.

Leider gab es beim Frühstücken keinen Kaffee mehr im Kännchen sondern man muss wenn man mehr Kaffee trinken möchte immer danach fragen. Wir fanden dies früher besser 😜

Hotel met aparte maritieme sfeer waar men ook gewoon lekker kan gaan eten.

We kozen voor de Boekanier omdat we er twee jaar geleden ook gelogeerd hadden en er zeer tevreden over waren. Het ontbijt was verzorgd en gevarieerd. De ligging van het hotel is ideaal. Rustig aan de kerk en op wandelafstand van het uitgestrekte strand met leuke strandbar. Vrouwenpolder is een klein dorpje en ideaal voor wie van rust houdt. Bij de Boekanier kan je ook lekker eten en daarvoor gaan we zeker graag nog eens terug.

De kamer was deze keer veel kleiner wat we niet erg vonden. Maar er hing wel een zeer onaangename geur afkomstig uit een nochtans nieuwe badkamer. Het had te maken met het feit dat deze kamer weinig gebruikt werd waardoor de "putjes" droog stonden. Jammer dat men dit wist en er dan op voorhand niets aan deed. Wij hadden misschien van in het begin hier iets moeten van zeggen. Toen we dit melden bij het uitchecken kregen we een hele uitleg die de geur moest verklaren waardoor het voor ons duidelijk was dat het probleem wel gekend was. Dat zorgde voor een eerder dubbel gevoel. Het heeft duidelijk met een installatiefout te maken en niet met de hygiëne want daar viel absoluut niets op aan te merken.

Die Kirche mit der Stundenglocke ist direkt gegenüber. Nicht so gut für Personen mit leichtem Schlaf.

Gemütlich und urig

Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und hat einen die niederländische Küche näher gebracht. Das maritime Ambiente ist urgemütlich und ansprechend. Super war auch, dass Parkplätze kostenlos fußläufig zur Verfügung standen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Im Restaurant, welches bei der Unterkunft angeschlossen ist, kann man wirklich gut essen. Traditionell viele Fischgerichte, die sehr schmackhaft sind

Die steile Treppe zu den Zimmern ist zwar typisch für die Niederlande, aber mit Gepäck eine Herausforderung. Man gewöhnt sich zwar dran, aber die Kirchenglocke meldet sich jede halbe Stunde. Wer sein Zimmer zur Kirche hat, sollte vielleicht Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen.

jeden morgen ein ausgiebiges und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück,immer frisch zubereitet und mit viel liebe hergerichtet. der Service,ist aufmerksam,schnell,und freundlich. das Ambiente einfach zum Entspannen.

die Matrazen,sind gewöhnungsbedürftig,bin im Schlaf fast aus dem Betzt gefallen ,weil der Toper wo auf der Matraze lieg nach aussen rutscht. und die Treppe nach oben zu den Zimmern ,das muß man wollen (können).

Denke das geht besser

Das wir ein Appartement bekommen haben für 3 Personen quasi wie kleines Haus, Frühstück war immer sehr ausgewogen, vor allem war es immer frisch also kein Büffel Essen , das war echt prima

10 Tage keine frischen Handtücher das war überhaupt nicht okay! Dann die 2 Einzelbetten wo man nachts als aufwachte, weil man sonst in die Ritze viel , da sie ja auseinander rutschten , das war überhaupt nicht gut !

Alles in Allem war der Aufendhalt schön.

Uns hat das Hotel gut gefallen, wir werden es nochmals besuchen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Am Frühstück konnte man nicht meckern, es war reichhaltig und abwechselungsreich. Und jeden Morgen eine Überaschung (Pfannekuchen etc.)

Nicht gefallen hat uns die steile, enge Treppe, und die Betten, die durch den Topper zu einer Gefahr wurde aus dem Bett zu fallen.

Für Kurztrip super

Wir waren nur eine Nacht als Familie dort. Ich hatte mein Bein gebrochen und hatte extra eine Unterkunft am Strand gesucht, da ich mit Krücken unterwegs war. In der Beschreibung steht „am Strand“, tatsächlich läuft man aber zu Fuß ca 20 Minuten zum Strand und dann noch von den Dünen zum Meer… so dass wir dann leider mit dem Auto vorfahren mussten. Wenn ich das gewusst hätte, hätte ich eine andere uns schon bekannte Unterkunft am Strand gewählt (die in ihrer Beschreibung circa 350 m zum Strand hat, tatsächlich deutlich näher am Strand liegt. Frühstück ist sehr lecker und Personal ist super nett Man sollte vielleicht noch sagen, dass die Kirchturmuhr nachts um 0:00 Uhr und morgens um sechs schlägt… und man auch sonst das Leben mitbekommt 😉

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in einem schönen Hotel und würden auch gerne wiederkommen.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und appetitlich angerichtet, das Personal aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Gefallen hat mir, dass wir keine Bettwäsche und Handtücher mit bringen mussten, die waren in der Unterkunft inklusive. Diese war auch wirklich sehr geräumig mit einem großen Bad, in dem wir viele Fächer zum Unterbringen unserer Utensilien hatten und einer begehbaren Dusche. Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Außenterrasse, auf der wir a la carte essen konnten. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten findet man in der Nähe ohne Probleme, ebenso eine E-Ladestation.

Gefehlt hat im Bad, in der Dusche, eine Möglichkeit sich fest zu halten oder ein Hocker zum Sitzen. Für meine Mutti ( 86 J) war es abenteuerlich, sich darin zu waschen. Gut wäre ebenso eine Abstellfläche für Duschartikel innerhalb der Dusche.

Schöne Kurzurlaub

Das Früstück war großartig - jeden Tag überraschend anders. Das Zimmer war einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet - die Betten sehr bequem.

Das WLAN war nicht stabil - mit einer 14jährigen nicht so toll! Ein Kühlschrank hat uns gefehlt und der Duschvorhang müsste mal getauscht werden!

Un chouette séjour malgré un appartement vieillot ...

Le déjeuner était excellent et varié. Il ne s'agissait pas d'un buffet mais d'un déjeuner servi avec de petites surprises locales comme des tartines aux fraises fraiches... c'était vraiment top.

Kleines persönlich geführtes Hotel zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben schon zum 2. Mal in diesem kleinen Hotel gewohnt, weil wir uns hier sehr wohl fühlen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr gut ist. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Zimmer klein, aber sauber. Tolles neues Badezimmer mit genug Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das üppige Frühstück wird jedem Gast am Tisch reserviert, jeden Tag mit neuen Überraschungen. Und die Lage direkt im Ort ist super. Einen kostenlosen Parkplatz haben wir immer leicht gefunden.

Die Treppe zu den Zimmern hoch ist steil und schmal, das sollte man wissen, wenn man eingeschränkt ist. Das Bett fanden wir sehr schmal und zu weich, haben aber trotzdem super geschlafen. Wir haben das Frühstück sehr genossen, aber es wird bestimmt oft vieles davon nicht gegessen und weggeschmissen. Das könnte man durch vorheriges Fragen nach den Wünschen vielleicht verhindern. 😊 Alles nur Kleinigkeiten. Wir mögen das De Boekanier und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.
