    Walking distance to all major attractions. Very clean and so friendly staff. Boat house is right next door across canal. Easy 15 minute walk to city museum.

    The price is a little on the higher end but we booked only a few weeks out from our trip which probably contributed to the steep price. The location was lovely. We had a room that faced the canals so that was a nice bonus. In terms of distance to places, most tourist attractions will be a couple train/tram rides away. There are a couple of grocery stores within walking distance. The included breakfast was pretty nice, had all the usual options. The staff were also accommodating and pleasant to interact with.

    On the day of arrival, I took Uber and it costs less than 30euro from Schiphol to the hotel. Even reserved taxi app suggested a similar price. On the day of departure, the Concierge was very nice and offered to call us a taxi. There was already a car waiting outside the hotel. Initially the staff asked us to wait for 5 minutes after making the phone call. One minute later he said the taxi arrived and it was the car that has been waiting outside the hotel. There was no taxi signs on it and I just hopped on because the hotel has arranged it. This was a hotel under international brand and thats why I trusted it. The meter was ticking exceptionally quick and the charge was 60euro when arrived at airport. There was no traffic at all. And when I searched in Uber and other taxi app it only cost less than 30 euro. When I asked the 'taxi' driver about the double in price, he explained different company had different charges and insisted that he was a taxi driver. Hotel staff also told us they took credit card as well because I dont have enough cash. The driver said they dont accept credit card and only took cash. When I said I do not have enough money, he happily just took the 50euro bank note from my hand and helped me with the luggage, without even arguing for the rest of the money. I wrongly believed the hotel would help me in arranging a proper taxi but I was wrong. I had a big disappointment in the hotel.

    The hotel charged me an extra 425£ after checkout and they are not responding to my emails to return it back.
