Hótel Vesturland

The location was sort of cool, almost adjacent to a waterfall and next door to a brewery. The restaurant was very good and the waitress was very pleasant. We saw the northern lights that night!

The hotel was hard to find, sort of buried down a road and through a parking lot. We arrived and departed through fairly heavy rain, so that may have affected our ability to navigate. The hotel feels a little bit more like a guesthouse. Our room was in a small building in the back of the property, and the room itself was pretty tiny and basic but clean. It was the most expensive of all the places we stayed, but really the least attractive.

Breakfast was good.

A bit crowded

Everything from being very clean to comfortable bed and pillows, and delicious breakfast buffet. Also, staff were very helpful. There’s also a grocery store across the street.
