Cozy, updated 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom condo

Plenty of room. comfy beds. It is an old property but great for our stay. Lots of amenities were provided which was nice. The kitchen has everything you need. The host answered our questions immediately. There is also a lovely view of the mountains from the living room. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony.

My adult children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean when we arrived! The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. The host was absolutely terrific in communicating and very helpful. The proximity to the mountain and the free bus was as advertised, it was literally right across the parking lot. We did not rent a car, never needed one. I highly recommend the space and the host!!!

Good distance from the slopes and easy to navigate and work with! Space was comfortable to return to after long day of skiing.

Check-in: Knowing the owner gives out the door code the day of arrival would have saved me a lot of time. The day before arrival I waited on hold forever with VRBO who ended up telling me to call the owner directly. They gave me 2 phone numbers. One was disconnected and one sounded like a FAX. I thought I’d been duped. Alex did call me back within a reasonable time and explained she’ll give me the code the day of check-in. She was good to her promise, and as for check-in, that was all we needed to access the unit and that went smoothly! Cleanliness: When we arrived, we noticed immediately all of the floors were dirty. Upon checking the bathrooms, the bathroom mats were dirty with shoe prints and hair. We ended up washing them. My friend turned down her bed and discovered the sheet was ripped with the wrong side up, and most disgusting of all, there were crumbs in her bed. We were grossed out and doubted the sheets were cleaned…and then what else wasn’t cleaned? I texted Alex, sending her pictures and again she was quick to respond. She reassured us the sheets and duvets had been washed. We still were skeptical. The living and kitchen areas were nice, however rugs and floors were unswept and not vacuumed. The rug on the deck was rotted from the sun and we just folded what was left and moved it aside. Bed time was stressful imagining the sheets unwashed from the previous guests. The location for the unit is great! We still had a wonderful time as Steamboat is fabulous and always fun to share with our-of-state people!
