historic house in a good location in Manchester
downstairs furniture was musty and gave us allergies

Overall we had a good stay.
However, there were quite a few things that need some work. Additionally, I'd like to request a discount or refund for one night's stay due the ant issue.
Things that weren't great:
- standing shower door broken
- one of the windows around the front door has a crack in it
- there are ants! Funny enough they're mostly upstairs in the bedrooms and not in the kitchen.
- the toilet paper holder keeps falling out in the bathroom off the kitchen
- hinges on pantry door broken
- door of bathroom gets stuck when trying to open and close
- there's a metal piece sticking out that's very sharp when you open up the leaves on the kitchen table
- I'd suggest you or someone you know go live in the house for a few days. There are lots of little things (I listed some above but not all) that need fixing like the toilet paper holder. These aren't a big deal but did make us feel like this place wasn't maintained well. I don't think you can really know all these things unless you live there for a few days.
