It felt homely. Bathroom and walk-in shower was great. Bed was large and the room was spacious. Availability of shared kitchen was nice (which we had to ourselves as there were no other guests at the time).
Kitchen could have been a bit better stocked with more tea / coffee options and small milk containers.
