Tintori Place

Location was great

We booked Tintori place, but we were told there is a problem with the apartment and need to stay in Dante State apartments, which we were assured are same or very similar for the same price. This change was not reflected in booking.com. we stayed in Boticheli apartment and the place was far from 9.5 rating. It was in a desperate need of TLC, kitchen was old, warn out and with ants.. Bathrooms were mouldy and visibly old. Aircons (2 of, bedroom and lounge) were mobile, with the compresor in the room and extremly noisy. There was a musty smell in the bedroom. Pillows were mismatched and not comfortable. There was no lift in the building and the stairs were a bit steep. The tv did not work. None of this was mentioned on the site.

The location is superb, right in the heart of the action. The apartment is lovely, with all the conveniences you need. Our host Vincent was especially helpful. He met us at the apartment and provided really good recommendations, which we followed and weren't disappointed. Thanks for a great stay!

We actually stayed at Dante States due to the booking being moved by the host so this review is for there, although they are on the same fabulous street - Via dei Neri. The host, Vincent, was very helpful and friendly, he made lots of recommendations for our stay, including a lovely restaurant opposite - Osteria dei Leoni. The street is vibrant and bustling, close to everything but far enough to be less crazy busy. The apartment was spacious and well appointed with everything we need. Excellent host!
