Popi was super kind and the house was amazing. We really liked the location, it was more authentic than other touristic villages.

There's nothing I didn't like.

We were in a community, which was not touristy. We had excellent advice including details of the local restaurant (Old Barber's Shop) with excellent and inexpensive cuisine. The property was quirky and full of character. We were well positioned to visit some wonderful places without actually living in them. For example, Oia and Fira were beautiful but very crowded and we were able to return in the evenings to the peace and tranquillity of Emporio.

Parking and difficulty of driving through very narrow roads but the location was worth it!

Cute and unique place that is definitely maintained and cared for. Popi was also very nice and helped us find an easier way to the suite so that we could drive our rental car to the property since the streets are SO narrow. I would definitely recommend renting ATV's (you must get an international drivers license first, in the US you can get it at a AAA office for $20) instead of renting a car- we rented a car because I didn't have the international license.

I booked this place specifically for the "hot tub/Jacuzzi" but it wasn't a hot tub, it is apparently only "heated by the sun" but the temps were only in the 70-75 range so the water was freezing and we couldn't use it. It really hindered our trip since that was the reason we booked this place, otherwise I would have booked somewhere on the beach. We were super disappointed despite it being a nice place. The view from the terrace is not as picturesque as the photos would lead you to believe either, there are a lot of buildings somewhat in shambles surrounding this place, graffiti, dirt/dry grass/dry trees (although perhaps early October is their dry season?) The two things we were looking forward to the most were a let down so it's hard to really appreciate this place. If you aren't looking for an actual warm hot tub and you aren't booking for a phenomenal view then you could probably appreciate this place more than we did.
