Beautiful location
Mattress didn't fit the bed, quilt cover too small for the bed, no towels, bathroom could do with de moulding and the cracked tiles and i was under the impression there was supposed to be a whirlpool bath, I would say £130 a night is reasonable not £170

Beautiful location, lovely walks nearby, comfortable cottage with good kitchen facilities, great shower and lovely views. Lovely walk to Hartington with pubs and shops (including the famous cheese shop!).
You need to be aware that the farm is down a 2 mile long bumpy muddy road, which might be an issue if arriving in the dark. Also make sure you follow the owners' directions and not follow the satnav or you will end up in trouble! Listing mentions a spa bath which doesn't seem to exist, just a normal bath. DVDs were available but not games and books - we would have brought our own!
