Well located apartment with great views

The apartment was clean, well located and had exceptional views. The hosts were friendly, helpful and generous. The apartment was well stocked with basic necessities and had cold water, coke, beer, cereal, coffee pods etc when we arrived, which followed with the host delivering a bottle of wine. She also offered for us to use her washing machine if required. It was less than a 5 minute drive to the national park and was a great island visit.

The stairs made it a bit of a struggle, especially with children. The one bathroom had a smell (from the drains we think)- the hosts did try their best to fix the problem on both days but seems it was only a temporary fix. Sure they will get this looked into. Restaurants nearby were overpriced and average.

Wonderful apartment in polace !!

There was all the necessary basic stuff as much as needed (olive oil, spices, shower gel, coffee…..). A very very very good place to stay !!

À washing machine would be a plus ! And try to improve the darkness in bedrooms.

So nice and quiet

We liked the apartment and especially the views from the living room and the terrace. The area us so nice and quiet. We rented bikes and went to the lake + bridge for swimming and sailing to St. Mary Island. Also thanks to Martina!

Nice and relaxing

The location is perfect, a very peaceful place. The accommodation is very spacious and clean. And our host Sandra was super helpful. The beds are comfy and there’s more than enough space to fit 4 adults.

Thoroughly enjoyable

The balcony and the view are amazing! Instant switch off listening to the waves lapping and looking at the boats. Apartment was clean, hosts were friendly and welcoming. Close to ferry, easy access to national park. Lots of bike rental close by.

Amazing stay in Mljet to visit the park

We had an amazing stay at Apartments Angelo! The flat is really big, super clean and comfortable, well equipped to cook a nice meal, with a great terrace with a beautiful view onto the sea. The location is perfect for visiting the National Park - which lakes are only a 30min walk away. Sandra was incredibly warm and welcoming - the loveliest host!

Our second visit there and again so pleased with the facilities, the space, the location, the comfort …. This appartment is superb for two couples or a family of four. Sandra our host is delightful and charming and her husband also very helpful.

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great with great view from the balcony. Flat was large. Could do early check in. In general, we very much enjoyed the stay (1 night)

Staying one night in such a wonderful, protected, zone is obviously priceless, but at that level.of price, I would have expected slightly higher standards in terms of furniture.

Good value for money, spacious apartment with lovely views

It was a nice and spacious apartment with balcony and lovely view. Two separate rooms with two separate bathrooms were great, and there was free parking in front of the property. There was a little shop and restaurants within a few minutes of walk. Hosts were nice too.

The bed wasn't comfy and you had to announce your arrival time that took away from the flexibility of going with the flow on the day. Perhaps installing a lockbox would be handy to allow self check-in.

Fantastic location , spacious, clean stay with lovely hosts!

Fantastic views from the room. The apartment was extremely spacious! It could have slept 6 people because it was so big. Very clean, lovely hosts. Polace is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Mljet. You can hire bikes, e-bikes, kayaks etc from right outside the apartment. There is a local supermarket. €15 in a taxi to Pomena for the ferry. Cafe Calypso is good for coffees. We loved it! Thank you!

The host was absolutely fantastic and was so helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely gorgeous.

The local food/restaurants were really expensive and limited , however we did travel just before the season started. You do need to hunt around for a good affordable restaurant at these times.

Absolute dream stay in polace

The apartment was an absolute paradise! Located in the quaint small village of Polace, it is absolutely stunning. It has everything you need for your vacation. We had a lovely time cooking in the apartment and having dinner on our balcony. Just a five minute drive from the national park and 30 minutes from the car ferry.

Great location.

The mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. the pillows were literally made of chip foam. Two big spaces in the kitchen where the washing machine and dishwasher had been removed. Communication was difficult- messaging through the booking service wasn’t direct with the hosts who were on-site at the property. Very little storage or space to unpack in the bedrooms.

the flat was nice and spacious and had a very nice view the staff was very friendly

there was no air conditioner in the bedrooms there was no proper curtains in the bedrooms so couldn’t sleep after sunrise at 5am the shower head was weirdly set up and water was going everywhere there is not much to do around if you don’t have a car

A3 Two Bedroom Apartment with Balcony and Sea View

Host Edi was very friendly and responsive. He even met us more than an hour before agreed time, since our trip took less time than we expected. Very nice view from the balcony, good A/C, spacious living room, smart TV, two bathrooms, private parking in front of the apartment. After asking, the host even left us brand new olive oil, salt and pepper.

Kitchen trash can does not have a cover, so trash smells all day and you have to take it outside to the containers which are about 100m from the apartment. Only two or three trash bags were left, and we were there for 5 days. There is a dish washer, but there were no dish-washing tablets left. Luckily Edi brought us some, after we asked for them. One of the bathrooms does not have an electrical socket, so you cannot use electric shaver or hair dryer in it, you have to use the other bathroom. The same bathroom does not have any place where you can leave your towel. All mentioned are small things, but can be annoying when on vacation, and are very easily fixable. There is a discount of 20% for Apartments guest in Ogigija restaurant, but it is so expensive, that we did not even consider it. I guess their clientele are mostly wealthy people form yachts and boats.

We had wonderful time on Mljet island, hvala.

The view from the balcony is amazing. We spent most time there. I loved to eat breakfast or dinner and observe the life of the whole bay. 2 bathrooms are a great advantage.

It was very hot in the apartment and the climatization was only at the main door. I had problems to sleep at night due to high temperatures. WiFi signal is very weak. I also missed some source of light in the kitchen while cooking. The ceiling light is insufficient. I used a headtorch hung from the shelf. :-/

We had a very good stay in a beautiful little town occupied with hospitable people.

Very large, light, modern comfortable apartment with a huge balcony. Good beds and showers. Even a washing machine available! Fantastic view from the balcony on the bay. Located right on the main boulevard of Polace. Good WiFi. Easy to collect the keys from the owner as he is also the owner of restaurant Ogigija. Spacy parking place available right across the apartment.

The air in the apartment could be a bit fresher. Some staleness in the air. Also, Polace can be a bit quiet from Wednesday until Sunday, as there are fewer tourists (flotilla).
