Nice holiday apartment in a quiet place

Ivona's apartment is between Lumbarda village (5 min driving) and Korcula town (8-10 min driving). It's less than 100 min from the sea and nearest beach, A complement plate of local snacks (cheese, prsut etc.) was waiting for us in the apartment on check-in. Ivona and her husband were extremely nice and helpful. Ivona helped us with organizing trips to Mijet national park and to Badija island. Also she informed us of the local events in Lumbarda village so we really felt like locals.

All the furniture, plumbing and appliances are rather old and would be great to upgrade. It all looks and feels like being at least 20 years old. Everything is in order though. Mattress in the bedroom should be replaced with orthopedic one with back and spine support. Old TV should be replaced with modern Smart TV, Old electric stove should replaced with induction one etc.

All was excellent. Very nice owners, friendly with really big heart. Apartment is cosy, very clean. Balcony is big, sea view. Quiet location. This is all you need for nice, quiet vacation.

Lovely spacious apartment with balcony overlooking the bay, would definitely recommend.

Ivona gave us a very warm welcome and speaks excellent English. There is very convenient parking at the apartment which is on the top floor of her home, with private access. Ivona was very friendly and helpful with local information- she even printed off concert tickets which we had bought online. She was very generous, giving us wine, figs and grapes from the family's vineyard. The apartment is spacious, clean and well-equipped and we had a lovely view from the balcony. It is in an excellent location for swimming & snorkelling, the centre of Lumbarda is 15 mins walk away for shopping, boat hire etc.
