Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay in Lumbarda

Initially I thought I was going to be stranded at Lumbarda because the buses stop running from 3pm on a Saturday and none on a Sunday! But Nikolai and GordAna very kindly let me use their bicycle so I was easily able to get around. Lumbarda is a very quiet little fishing village and a19 Euro taxi fare away from Korcula but I really enjoyed it. Easy access to Kayaking and great swimming beaches (on the bike) and I highly recommend the nearby restaurant Guvani - absolutely sensational! (Note also that the supermarket is closed on Sundays)

Very good. The island is wonderful!

The view was great. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. We didn’t meet the host in person, but she sent us instructions and suggestions on what to see. There was also a folder with useful information about Korčula. The private parking was a big plus. There are plenty of piers nearby where you can swim. But it's a 30-minute walk to the sandy beaches (or 5-7 minutes by car)

The apartment is located next to the road, so it was a bit noisy at times. It was absolutely fine for us, but it might be uncomfortable for some people (with the door and window closed, there’s no noise).

Fantastic stay in Lumbarda with a killer view!

The balcony was the highlight of this apartment. It looked over the bay just as it shows in the pictures. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was quite big.

Clean and modern apartment

Property was clean and modern and the view from the balcony is lovely There is a bus stop opposite the property for a bus into main Korcula city The comments about the main road outside are correct that during the day it is quite loud but of an evening it does quite down and as a light sleeper this did not cause any issues with getting to sleep

Unfortunately the host was not there upon arrival as we arrived quite late in the day, we were met with a rather stand offish man who did not greet us in a very friendly or welcoming manner. He advised he didn’t know about the bookings but when you own a property that allows people to stay surely you would be more helpful to the two people outside with suitcases looking around. The gentleman then did not seem pleased we were there and made the whole welcoming quite uncomfortable for two tourists. In the rooms you could also hear a lot of banging and footsteps from the top floor until late at night The bus stop outside is also not a main bus stop meaning if you want to get off there you need to tell the taxi driver of this beforehand as they will not stop even if you press the stop button. The walk into lamburda has a 10 min walk which involves no pavement so would not recommend for people with younger children

Wonderful!

We loved our host, she was immediately friendly and helpful. We loved the accommodation with a view overlooking the bay. We were a short walk away from Lumbarda with several restaurants and shops. We found 2 sandy beaches not far from there. We shall return!

We really loved our stay here.

A spacious and tidy apartment. Equipped very well and the location is very good. We loved the seaview. The hostess, Gordana, is super nice and friendly. She takes good care of her clients. We weren't bothered about the apartment being close to a quite busy road. The bed was really comfy and we loved the pretty sheets.

Awesome hosts

The hosts were awesome! They made us feel like we were at home and helped us navigate the attractions on Korčula. Lumbarda is beautiful and not too crowded. The apartment was exactly as shown on pictures.

Warm & welcoming place, great stay

Nice and spacious apartment, well equipped. Very close to the sea. Mini bar and space to hand out downstairs is very nice. The hosts are very friendly and talkative and funny. Would recommend!

Nothing horrible but the bed was a bit too soft for our taste and the pillows slightly bigger and firmer - just something that depends on personal preference.

Gorana was a wonderful host. So welcoming and helpful. Great location. Couple of nice restaurants within a 5 min walk. Lots of places to swim . Good base to explore the island if you have a car. But public transport also an option with a bus stop across the road. Well appointed studio apartment with a great balcony overlooking the bay

Spectacular VIew; Lots of Natural Light; Lovely

What was not to like? The view was incredible; there was LOTS of natural light; a nice balcony; a garden; all the things you need to cook a meal etc. Plenty workspace (a nice large table) to do work or school. Loved the cube shelf with plenty of storage. Large bed. Downstairs in the common area you could get ice or make coffee. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

TV didn't work some of the time; this is a common problem; wifie was seamles

We stayed in a lovely, comfortable apartment with a great location by the sea. The view of the sea was the best. The owners were outstanding; they were friendly and extremely helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. We had an enjoyable and relaxed week, and it was a great experience.

Awesome place in Lumbarda

Very clean and comfortable apartment in Lumbarda. View from terrace is amazing. The sea is literally 20 steps away from the apartment (yes, you can also swim there). Owner was very friendly and welcoming. There's a shared hangout spot downstairs. It's a 10 min walk to the town with lot of restaurants and bars. There's also a bus stop in front of the place to reach Korčula. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing view, great value stay

The view was amazing, we loved getting up for an early morning dip in the sea in front. Great location, about 10 minute walk into lumbarda, some nice beaches there or vela prizna only a 30 minute walk. Apartment was clean and tidy and as pictured, everything that we needed for our stay. There is also a lovely communal area downstairs which is shaded and had a nice vibe. Thank you to our hosts who were very welcoming and available to give recommendations.

Bilo je izjemno!

Gostitelja sta izjemno prijazna in prijetna. Na voljo sta ves čas, v primeru, da kaj potrebujete, sta vedno pripravljena pomagati. Lokacija je zelo dobra, saj nudi pogled na morje. Apartma nudi vse potrebno za udobno bivanje. Pred nastanitvijo je na voljo veliko parkirišče. Plaža je le nekaj metrov stran od nastanitve. To nastanitev priporočam vsem, ki si želite preživeti prijeten oddih na Korčuli. Nikola is the best man in the world :)

Apartman čist. Ima sve što je potrebno. Čak i puno dodatnih deka i jastuka, svo posuđe, sol, wifi i tv... U prizemlju puno kauča, stolovi sa stolicama i vanjska kuhinja s pogledom na more (za sve goste). PREEEDIVAN pogled na more iz cijelog apartmana (vidi se i iz kreveta). Najmodavka vrlo simpatična i jako brzo odgovara na upite i bez smetnje donosi što je potrebno (dodatni ručnici itd) Iskreno preporučam. Za odmorit dušu.

Sve mi se svidjelo, ali bih samo htjela napomenuti za Lumbardu za mlade i one koje vole malo izaći među ljude, na piće itd- jako mirno mjesto, tiho, čini se kao da nikoga nema. Do Starog grada gdje je življe se može doći taksijem za 10 minuta (20 eura fiksna cijena)
