This newly renovated and freshly decorated 2 bedroom 1 bath home feels like your favorite sweater. Completely renovated and redecorated, the home features everything you would want in a home away from home! New Beautyrest beds, flat screen TV's in Living Room and each bedroom. Outdoor space calls to you, with its beautiful firepit and sectional sofa curved around it, all in a private fenced courtyard under the gracious towering Oak namesake. This is our 3rd vacation rental and we travel a lot ourselves; we really understand what our fellow travelers want in a home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen lets you prepare a meal from scratch, heat up leftovers, or bring in from any one of the many local restaurant choices. Great stay. Convenient location. Bed was comfortable and place was clean with a washer dryer. Nice outdoor area also

Host was excellent! Outdoor patio was wonderful for relaxing. Location was perfect. We would have loved a few extra pillows for the beds. Beds were a little soft for someone with back issues. Other than that we had a great stay.

The house and property were very nice. The house was equipped with all the amenities you will need. Our group stayed for 4 days, and 3 nights while visiting Sonoma. The weather was around 95 degrees while we were there. The day we arrived (around 5:00 p.m.) the house temperature was 88 when we arrived and it took hours to cool it. The next day when we returned the house was again around 88 degrees. I emailed the owner because we realized they were controlling the air conditioner during the day through "the nest" and apparently they turn it off around 11:00 a.m. each day. We were really upset. Especially after cooking our meal in the oven - the kitchen was like a furnace. The owner apologized and stated in a message to me that the A/C does not work well in "high" temps. I told her to please disable the nest so we can control the A/C. The next morning it again turned off at 11:00. I emailed her and she said she asked her husband to lower it to 78 and that she would check on her way home the temperature. When we returned the house temperature was set at 74. However it felt like 78. We loved the house! However as a hostess you are responsible for taking care of your clients when there renting. Turning the A/C off is inappropriate no matter what the temperature outside. And if you know this is an issue either way put window units in and blackout curtains so your guest are comfortable. Very disappointed. Really ruined our trip to Sonoma valley.
