Location was excellent. The apartment has two bathrooms which is very convenient. The owners let us leave luggage before check-in.

Excellent location for major tourist attractions! It felt clean and we were comfortable.

As others have said, there are a lot of steps.

The owners, the location, and the house itself were truly perfect! Aside from a bit of dust in a few spots, the house was spotless and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive — whenever I messaged them, they replied promptly, answered all my questions, and resolved any issues right away. They also shared a very comprehensive Rome guide upon check-in, which was extremely useful. I would highly recommend staying here.

It is clearly stated in the listing, but the stairs can be challenging when carrying luggage. On a daily basis, they were perfectly fine for us. It didn’t bother us at all, but just to let future guests who might be sensitive to noise know: on rainy days, the neighboring roofs can get a bit noisy :) You can hear the raindrops tapping quite clearly.

The location of the property

the outside of the b&b, there’s a market and it smells like garbage for all the activity during the day. The stairs leading to your apartment or four levels, 60+ stairs and steep, and the stairs are worn down and slippery. It was a struggle after walking around all day to climb up the stairs plus you can hear the upstairs neighbor moving chairs, walk around I think I heard a pee one time there’s not much you could do about it. I think the wood ceiling is also his floor. The main lights didn’t work in each of the bathrooms. One of the bathrooms had mold on the shower, curtain the bottom of it and black mold on the top of the tile you cannot adjust the thermostat at all. It’s locked. It’s old it’s Rome. It’s not US standards. I think that’s just what Rome is
