The "Payson House" is spacious with magnificent, unobstructed views of trees and mountain surroundings from inside and out. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Relax on the porch swing and watch birds and hummingbirds fly by. The living room has comfy leather furniture with large windows to enjoy the view. The house features four bedrooms, two baths and sleeps 12-14 comfortably.
The Payson House is in a great location......in Payson! Just 2 miles off of the Beeline Hwy(87), so you'll be close to town for all your shopping needs, from grocery stores, restaurants, theater. park and Mazatzal Casino. If you just want to kick back and relax or take on the great outdoors, the Payson House offers both.
Incredible hiking area just 5 minutes away with easy to intermediate hiking, with trails that lead to the top of the mountain range that you can see from our viewing deck....beautiful! (Bring your binoculars!) Superb Mountain Biking just minutes away as well!
Lounge in the 'Little Forest area" down below the main house where you will find a fire pit and benches for casual conversation or for a larger group. Pitch a tent(s) and view the stars at night while eating a delicious s'more. There is a CORNHOLE game. We also have a Pool Table and a Ping Pong table!
WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! Outside our back door is a great area to walk your pets. Plenty of places for hiking for you and your dog(s).
If you like to fish, many lakes are to be found on the Mogollon Rim. You are only 40 minutes from Roosevelt Lake which is known for fantastic bass fishing. The East Verde River is only 20 minutes away and is stocked on a weekly basis during fishing season. The owner usually gets his limit almost every outing. Woods Canyon lake is also great for fishing and kayaking, etc. We are just forty minutes away from Kohls Ranch, which offers horseback riding and fishing on Tonto Creek. Tonto Creek Fish Hatchery is a must see! The Natural Bridge is just 15 minutes away.

Our rental policy includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy, and parties. Evictions and forfeitures of deposit for any violations of said policies are strictly enforced. The property is very well maintained and the house is very clean. The view from the deck is beautiful, excellent spot to have coffee, and meals. The air conditioning really came in handy for the muggy nights. The hiking trails that are only 1.5 miles away are maintained very well and a pleasure to use. The host is very responsive to requests and needs. I highly recommend the Payson House and would consider using this location again when visiting the area.

This place was exactly how it was described on the app. Beautiful home, beautiful views. Excellent communication and quick responses from the hosts. This home literally had everything you could possibly need down to the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom needs. The game room was our favorite…pool, ping pong, and cornhole. The hosts also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and hiking areas. Highly recommended!!!

The property was as advertised. Check in was very easy. It was very clean. The highlights were:1) the deck with a view and an old fashion swing……including a surprise visit by a full grown Elk with a large rack ( see picture )2) modern kitchen with all of the necessities needed for preparing meals3) the central air which kept the property comfortable during the hot part if the day.4) quiet, transitional neighborhood close to shopping and eating 5) although we had no young children the house is stocked with plenty of amenities for the younger generation.
