About this house rental

This beautiful home will welcome either the solo traveler or families, we are ready for you! Enjoy the deck while you relax by the chimanea, or get into the spa for total relaxation! The house has three bedrooms, and the upstairs room can also has a queen sized bed. There is a very comfortable Murphy bed in the fireplace room. The playroom is great for kids! I recently added an electric fireplace/heater to the master bedroom, so lovely to wake up and look out at the mountain while you are comfy and warm in bed... I love sharing my home with others, I know that you will love it too!

We had a wonderful weekend here. Leslie was responsive and welcoming. We had a couple family gatherings out on the deck and the view was absolutely gorgeous. The kids play room and ping pong table were a hit.

We stayed due to overflow at a family home during a Celebration of Life! This stay was a blessing in many ways! There were many similarities to the family home which were welcoming and comforting. A 32 year neighbor of my parents (family home) coincidentally knew Leslie, our host and described her as a “great woman.” The house was lovely and clean. It was wonderful viewing the look from the other end!

Leslie’s SLO Lakeside Lodge was a big hit with my family, even better than we expected. Leslie thoughtfully provided us with some nice gifts for our arrival, and everything was clean and well laid out. The view was as lovely as it is in her pictures, the hot tub was terrific and accessible, and even the weather cooperated mostly. Location was very good, close to rock climbing, which we appreciated, and very close to restaurants and shopping. But still felt like a neighborhood. Wonderful lake with hiking trails

This was a perfect place for my family. Each adult had their own room. The deck is amazing and we spent most of our daytime hours out there overlooking the lake. Another special feature is an upstairs playroom for children where you can just let them go. Leslie is a wonderful host!

The setting is beautiful. The home is the primary residence of the owner. Lots of stuff to watch out for with little kids. The upstairs kids room is very hot with little ventilation. Be careful if you use the jacuzzi, we were charged for a repair on the cover frame that was already damaged. Take pictures of everything that isn’t perfect.

I had a small gathering for friends and family at this home for a graduation. The owner Leslie was very responsive to all my questions. The deck is fabulous for entertaining. Incredible view. The VIEW, oh the view! Even with intermittent rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful outdoor space. We used all five bedrooms, which was plenty space for the seven of us. The only drawback to the room adjacent to the kitchen is our daughter had to put up with the early risers, making coffee and turning on lights. Also, sometimes it was difficult to navigate through all the kitchen supplies/equipment, as there is far too much, lol. But otherwise, we had an incredible stay there, and look forward to staying again down the road.

Views of the wetlands/lake off the large back deck we’re gorgeous. Great location in a neighborhood a few minutes off the freeway. Beautiful view off the back deck of a lake and the mountains behind. Quick 10 minute drive to Avila or Pismo Beaches. The owner was wonderful to work with and was on top of everything. Communication with the owner was easy and there to answer any questions.

You cannot beat the view from this house. It's just like the picture. Absolutely beautiful. The host was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. This is definitely a lived in house and does not have a neutral feel, which made us feel a little weird staying there - like we were intruding in someone's home if that makes sense. Other than that, no complaints. Again - that view is just the best.

We chose Leslie’s house for the close proximity to our nieces wedding venue in SLO. The location couldn’t have been better. House was very comfortable for the five of us. We had a wonderful stay at the Laguna Lake house. The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. The house is very comfortable and had everything you need and more. We were there to celebrate a CP graduate and the back deck is the perfect spot to do so. I would definitely stay here again just to enjoy the beautiful back drop from the patio and the peace and quiet.

Leslie is a very nice and accommodating host. She gave us a tour of the house when we arrived. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. We were a family group of nine adults and had plenty of sleeping space, but there were only two bathrooms which was a bit tricky with nine adults. The house is her primary residence, so it is heavily decorated with family photos and keepsakes, and the counters are occupied with her belongings. The deck and its view is the best part of the house. It's gorgeous!

Leslie’s home is spacious and cozy all at the same time. Her thoughtful tour and arrival gifts were much appreciated. We were there for a family wedding through what turned out be be historically bad weather by California standards, but the calm and cozy home saw us through it all. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub and all the little touches that make her home special. We enjoyed our stay.

We had 4 couples + a 20 month old stay at this house and had a great time! It was raining all weekend over New Years, so we didn't explore the town much. The house was a nice cozy spot for breakfast, board games, ping pong and hot tubbing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for lake views in a quiet neighborhood!

Leslie was very hospitable and she gave us a tour of the house. Beautiful view of Lake Laguna. The only knock was that there were quite a few cobwebs on the outside furniture. Other than that, 5 stars.
