Wood floors, tiled shower, bathroom has heated marble floors, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen include a dishwasher, granite counters, ice maker and a washer and dryer.
Architectural details include 1920's milk glass light fixtures, bulls eye trim, two skylights and four stained glass windows.

Easy walking (1 mile) to Pack Square, which is the center of downtown with French Broad Chocolate Lounge, Mast General Store, Curate, and just .4 miles to High Five Coffee Bar, Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter and Greenlife Grocery/Whole Foods.

I had a wonderful stay in this comfortable, well-appointed and sun-filled guest house. There are sky-lights and large windows throughout the house, which made for wonderful light. The bed was very comfortable with a nice, firm mattress and nice linens. The shower was large and pleasant (with another skylight in the bathroom). The neighborhood is very calm, quiet and pretty, with nice houses and gardens. I also appreciated that there was good food shopping (Whole Foods and Trader Joe's) a short drive or 20-minute walk away, and that Ashelville's lovely downtown district was easily accessible. Helen was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely rent this house again and hope to come back!

I stayed here for 3 months while completing my final graduate school internship. Helen was extremely helpful; the apartment was beautiful and in a great little neighborhood. My favorite part was all of the natural light (with 3 sunlights and a wall of windows)!
