About this house rental
Grapevine Guest House is a west coast home in the heart of Ucluelet. This spacious accommodation offers a unique indoor garden lounge that hosts a flourishing organic grapevine. Planted by our late grandparents some 20years ago, the vine now spans across the length of the home and produces and abundance of fruit that we are happy to share.
Perched atop a rock bluff, this home has lovely panoramic mountain and harbor views. Centrally located you can conveniently walk to the many restaurants, stores, tour companies, galleries and hiking trails. The guest house comfortably sleeps 6-7 guests, providing a king room, 2 queen rooms and a queen sofa bed. You’ll enjoy a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with a dining area that seats 8 comfortably. All linens and towels are provided. Laundry facilities available, free wireless WIFI, and ample parking for several vehicles.
Our family has resided on the West Coast since the 1920’s; being knowledgeable about the area we are happy to provide information about the best hiking trails, surfing, kayaking and many other activities in the area. We have revitalized our grandparent’s home to be able to welcome and share this wonderful space with friends and guests as they once did.

Amazing stay at the Grapevine Guesthouse. The beautiful sunroom with the grapevine was heavenly to sit in and read, enjoy coffee in the morning or play games at night. The beds were super comfy and the house is immaculate with added touches from the local artists in the area. The hosts were warm and welcoming too. Shared produce from their garden, and provided assistance and extra items like lawn chairs without hesitation. Would love the opportunity to stay here again. We will be sure to stay at the Grapevine House again.

My family now lives spread across Canada, so this trip was designed as a clean and comfortable way to enjoy Ucluelet and Tofino with our own private space away from the crowd and visit with one another, while being able to do day trips to all the lovely beaches and hikes. Some members of the group also had dietary restrictions, so having a useable kitchen was an important factor. The highlight of the space was the sunroom with the titular grapevine! Enclosed with lots of windows to let in the sunlight, this indoor experience could make you feel as if you're relaxing in the garden in any weather. Giovi and his mum were great hosts - extremely responsive and happy to help make the experience perfect. They take great care of the property and we're often outside fixing something or adding an improvement, yet never loud or intrusive. We were very grateful to have stayed here and if we plan to reunite in Ucluelet again we would hope to be able to stay at the grapevine house.Thanks Giovi!
