About this cottage rental
Quaint two bedroom cottage in Whispering Pines located on the Mill Pond with private beach, pool, and tennis court. A fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room (with additional sofa bed) and relaxing sunroom to enjoy the sunset after a busy day at Eastham’s fabulous beaches. Two bedrooms consist of a double and two twin beds, one bathroom with shower/bath combo and additional outdoor shower. The Whispering Pines Association has washer/dryer facilities. No pets allowed.

We had a great time and enjoyed the cottage.
The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Weather was in the 70s so the fans were plenty. The porch is where we spent most of our time and we enjoyed the lake, tennis courts and pool.
The cottage was close to restaurants and beaches .
We would come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Pines. The location is perfect. The development is tucked away off route 6 and having access to the pool and pond were a welcome break from the busy beaches with our one year old. We ended up spending more time in the cottage than anticipated due to our daughter’s nap schedule. 🙃 The cottage itself was clean but not well stocked. We missed the memo to bring our own linens so had to run out the night we arrived and also had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. The bathroom could really use the update the rest of the house received. The hosts were gracious enough to supply us with a high chair for our daughter and there were even a few toys for her to play with. We loved eating breakfast on the back porch. All in all the trip was a success and we would stay here again in the future.

Location is good, and this property is a true cottage; small with few amenities and no A/C and no privacy in the outdoor shower! The cape is humid and this cottage has rugs, which create a musty smell in the rooms. Therefore, the weekly rate is unreasonable.
