This unusual holiday home, adjacent to the owners Grade II Listed barn, was originally used as stables for the main house. It has been thoughtfully converted to retain its charm and character and is tastefully furnished and equipped, providing the necessary modern day facilities and even a tennis court is available within the grounds on request.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay. Lucy and sons were friendly and very helpful. The barn is unique and certainly something very different to what you'll find in Australia, where we live. We can thoroughly recommend staying here, especially if you enjoy peace and quiet.

We had a lovely break at Woolhouse Barn. It's cosy, welcoming and clean. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and it's set in a lovely rural location. There isn't much to do on the doorstep so you need to drive, but if you know that in advance then it's not a problem. We had a great meal at the local Boathouse restaurant, and there's a lovely cafe at Teapot Island nearby. It's a very pretty place to stay.

Lovely atmospheric barn, very cosy and in a beautifully quiet location. Lots of local walks and fantastic for anyone with a dog. Well equipped, 2 bathrooms, 5 beds and a great place to hole out for 2 weeks. Owners very helpful and plenty of garden space and parking. Recommended.
