Such a beautify with incredible, empty and open hiking in every direction. But be prepared for the road to get there - the last 2 km are single lane very rough and half unpaved road. If there’s been a lot of rain it would be a major challenge. This also means that you should bring the food you need so you don’t need to drive in and out numerous times. In the little store there were some - what looked like - gorgeous home made soups and lasagna type meals for sale. We didn’t try any but I’d definitely do that if we hadn’t brought enough supplies.
A little confusing when we first arrived as we couldn’t find staff. But once found they were super helpful and even provided more wood for our fireplace.

The location was excellent.
Views of the Drakensberg were stunning
Love the ECO approach.
Bed was a little hard.
Pool was dirty.
