Prize by Radisson (Prizeotel) was a great place to stay near the Munich Airport. The room was small but the facilities were adequate, with some interesting features like a warmer under the bathroom sink! There was also an airport shuttle service right outside the hotel for 10 Euros each if the timing works for you (only runs in mornings and evenings). Food-wise, there is a good Italian restaurant right across too. Overall a good option to consider, especially if you have a flight to catch the next morning!

While location on the map looks like it’s near the airport, in actual fact, it will take at least 20-30 minutes by bus to reach the airport. Metro station is quite old, no elevators. Few buses run in the area. There is no direct bus to the airport but u can book an airport bus for 10 euros with the reception. The area has no restaurants but you can take the bus+metro to get to the airport for food. There are supermarkets nearby but take note that they are closed on Sundays and PH. Hotel room is bare but has all the basic facilities in the room. No kettle, fridge, wardrobe. For the price, I think it might be more worth it to book a hotel directly at the airport
