Good location 3 miles from Brecon used as a base. Property as described. The property was very clean on arrival. Well stocked kitchen. Clear communication from the owners.

The layout and decor was fantastic, modern and well thought out. Great location, close to lots of walks and activities. Walkable to Brecon and local pub. Brilliant views at day and night. The hosts were great. The place has a really peaceful atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Absolutely everything amazing views from your front door, superbly decorated to a very high standard clean ,friendly staff willing to help you if required,beautiful setting close to most of the things we chose to do.Ive booked again already for next yr that’s how pleased we were

Great location, really clean and lovely

Excellent, clean, and so cute. We had a fantastic overnight stay. Amazing views of the Brecon Beacon hills and a lovely canal walk right on site. It's really peaceful and the perfect getaway.

This isn't a negative as it was for us to research, but as someone with limited mobility, i couldn't use the stairs inside the Captains Lookout to upstairs floor. This is just as they are steep and have unusual footings. There are steps up to the accommodation with a great handrail that with my limitations, I could manage fine in contrast. That said, it didn't impact our stay as the seating area, bed, and kitchen are downstairs, with a sofa and TV upstairs. Just wanted to say that in case anyone has limited mobility. Other than that, an absolutely perfect stay and these points are not any fault of anyone, just a personal experience.

The location was perfect and the property was exceptionally nice. Ideal location for Brecon and surrounding areas.

The upper floor and TV access is a little steep. Would suggest a TV on the lower floor.

Captains Lookout for a captain

We liked the location next to the canal with easy access to surrounding scenic places. The apartment was comfortable and had most amenities required.

We missed not having a conventional oven. In addition, the steps up to the seating area could be made non slippery. We missed not having a recycling bin.

Amazing scenery. Large, spacious and quirky accommodation. Modern. Very safe feel. Friendly people.

No breakfast included. Bed quite uncomfortable. Bathroom looks clean but smells like mould if vent is turned off.

a lovely cosy studio, situated in a great location. my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. In the apartment there is a book which includes lots of information, eg, walks, pubs, restaurants… we found that very helpful. the staircase is beautiful and quirky and we found this place very cosy and relaxing.

Beautiful property in great location

The property was perfectly located and had everything we needed for a long weekends stay. A decent size and comfortable bed, kitchen had a good size fridge and the TV upstairs had Netflix. I would highly recommend and would stay again
