About this cabin rental

XThis pool front house offers one of the best spots at the Island Club on Put-in-Bay. The elevated deck that wraps around the front of this home is the ideal spot to grill up some great food on the provided propane grill. Seating areas on the deck are provided for your guests. Inside the home you will find three bedrooms and two full baths. The occupancy of this home is eight guests. There is an eat-in kitchen at the rear of the home. Here there are pots, pans, utensils and dishes to cook and serve a delicious meal for all. The living room has comfortable couches and a television with satellite service. There is parking for two vehicles in the onsite drive. Put-in-Bay is an ideal location for a summer getaway. The Island Club is the preferred lodging choice for groups of all sizes. This cabin can be rented with neighboring homes to accommodate even the largest of groups. Set sail across Lake Erie to PIB and set your clock to island time with us!
The weekends at Put in Bay Ohio are popular for the nightlife and getting away from the daily work grind without going too far from home. During the week, you can relax and enjoy Put-In-Bay's slower pace in a family friendly atmosphere. The house was much more spacious than expected and it was very nice and clean when we arrived! It is walking distance from the downtown area and there is a taxi as well if you do not want to walk. Overall it was a 10/10 experience!

Arrived to find out we were at different cabin then we booked and the number to call for help was a third party and couldn't help us at all. Completely different cabin that had mice run around all night.

Put in Bay City s a fun island with lots to do. The cabin was a 20 min walk to the harbor. The pool was nice. Be aware this is a party area and the neighbors while respectful played load music and where hanging outside. Including my crew of friends.

Well. What can I say. It’s a place to lay your head after you’ve been drinking all day. That’s about it. Barely left us any toilet paper, nothing to wash dishes with and looked it hadn’t really had a great cleaning in a long time. The mattresses sag inward, the deck is ready to fall apart but at least the management company is responsive. You get what you pay for I guess…

Blinds in bedroom were broken or in poor shape. Broken drawers in bedrooms and kitchen and old furniture/curtains. It rained one day and we literally had water leaking from the kitchen ceiling. We put a bucket where it was leaking and left it there so they knew where the leak was coming from. I did call the office about this. They didn’t come over to fix it - but it had stopped raining so it wasn’t a problem for us. The deck has areas that it feels like you could fall through. I can’t imagine it would pass code. So I was a little disappointed in the condition of the place. It needs some Updating and maybe a fresh coat of paint. Due to the condition of the place- I would not recommend this unit.

The rental property was great. We did the walk through and called with all issues to avoid us being charged. They sent someone over immediately to look at property. They were so friendly and willing to help with everything. We will definitely be going there again next year.

The bed room with master bathroom the beds was not comfortable. Plus the house was dirty. Plus they forgot linens that I paid for. Once they brought them they was dirty. Had to have them replaced. Unit needs overhauled. Some of the other units looked new.

Reviewer Comments: We were satisfied overall. We had read the reviews so I brought my essential oil atomizer. There is water stains and mold on the kitchen ceiling. There were some.tile that had come loose on the toekick. The refrigerator is cold but doesn't get beer ice cold, there were plenty of silverware. The pots and pans are old nonstick and very warn. The mattresses were comfortable, had mattress covers on them and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. There is Wi-Fi in the house and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. We didn't use the washer but the dryer worked fine. Great large deck across from the pool!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a cute little community but was not worth the price. I stayed in #9 and it needs some serious work. This is not how all of them look. Some were beautiful and updated inside and I will be requesting those ones if I return. The one I stayed in, #9 looked like a frat house. The kitchen baseboards were laying on the floor when we got there. The bed sheets/comforter looked “clean” but were in need of an update. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. The one bedroom window would not shut and is in line with the deck, which is dangerous. The couches were covered in stains and burn holes. Lastly, the screen on the sliding glass doors were busted out which allowed bugs to get into the house. Also, Paul was my contact. He was responsive at first but then as the date got closer it was less and less. He was extremely unaccommodating in regards to COVID-19 updates, refunds/cancellations. He was not friendly or personable in my experience. He did not have good customer service.

The kitchen had some cooking utensils and pans but were definitely abused. The refrigerator is not working quite well and needed attention by the management team. They were prompt at coming over to address the issue. Living Room was nice and clean. The bedrooms were clean but beds were quite uncomfortable but manageable for our two nights there. The bathrooms were clean and plenty of hot water! For the two night say we were satisfied with the overall home. Would not have paid the normal price to stay there as we had a discount due to covid. The pool was right out the door and perfectly heated. Disappointed the pool was not open passed 7pm. It is well lit and had a great atmosphere. Was extremely happy to see security on golf carts driving around all evening as well as the bus. I would suggest future renters to book island club golf carts or go thru Golf Cart Depot.
