About this cabin rental
WELCOME TO BARNWOOD LODGE! A fully renovated pre-civil war luxury vacation rental. This is the largest of our vacation rental cabins. This 2.3 acre lakefront property features the main house which consists of 2 -1800's log cabins, fully restored with 5 bedrooms, each with a bathroom, plus a 600 sq ft detached bunk/guest house with its own bathroom and kitchenette and sleeping space for up to 13 guests. This over 4,000 sq foot property is able to accommodate up to 27 guests in beds. Barnwood Lodge was featured on the hit DIY Network show, Barnwood Builders as part of Season 3. Our big family outgrew all of our houses- so we now choose a location every year and meet up for Christmas to spend a few nights together. This was definitely one of our favorite places we have ever stayed! Accommodating, beautiful, and very cozy! We hope to stay again there soon!

Perfect in every aspect. We had 9 adults and 5 kids (all boys, ages 6 to 15). The kids loved the bunk house! They were so excited to have their very own house! And the adults loved the main house. Each bedroom has their own private bathroom, which is very convenient.The common areas were large enough for us to gather and play games and have dinner together. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare large meals. We were there for a family reunion that was held at Guntersville State Park. A few other family members stopped by for a visit during our time there and everyone loved the Barwood Lodge.
The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for the perfect vacation.

Listening to the birds in the morning was amazing. Property is MORE than comfortable for a large family like mine. There is privacy for your family but also numerous communal areas where we hung out to tell stories and catch up. I would recommend!

We had a group of 15 guys and the property was perfect for it! Unique property - it’s obvious they were attentive to every detail of the renovation!
