About this apartment rental
Newer, upscale, family friendly. (No Pets, No smoking, No teen or college groups.) 1st floor of a 2 unit duplex, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (sleeps 11). It is located in the heart of Ocean City, NJ, near the beach and boardwalk, restaurants, amusements, and shopping.
Please be aware that for this property, High School and College groups are not accepted. Tenant must be over 24 years of age and minors may not occupy the property unless an adult is present.
Additionally, Tenant supplies bed linens, towels, beach tags, baby furniture, paper products, soap products, hair dryer, and other personal items. Concierge services may be available in the area to supply some of these items at Tenant's cost.
The first floor rental unit has a great room with living room, a 55" TV, dining area with table seating 8. The island kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and 4 comfortable stools for the island seating.
Bedrooms: There are 10 steps to the bedroom section of the house. The 1st Primary Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bath with granite counter top and tile shower. Another bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed set, and flat screen TV. The 2nd Primary Bedroom also has a King size bed, flat screen TV, and en suite bathroom with tile shower, this room accesses the rear deck, furnished with Adirondack chairs through a sliding door. The final bedroom which also accesses the rear deck, has a single bed with a trundle bed underneath and a set of bunk beds and a flat screen TV.
There is a large hall bath with double sink, granite vanity and a tub/shower. Also located in the bedroom hall area are front load washer (requires He detergent) and stacked front load dryer.
The front deck is furnished with a glass top table and 4 chairs plus two swivel chairs. There is an enclosed outdoor shower and a hose for after beach use. An inclosed garage holds one car and outside parking is available for another car.
Amenities include central air conditioning, dish washer, drip coffee pot and a single-cup "Keurig-type” coffee maker, toaster oven and 2 DVD players, gas grill (New in 2024), 4 beach chairs and beach toys, also Free Wifi is included.

Kay and Bill’s place was the perfect location and size, and offered the amenities our combined family of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids ages 9-15) needed for a fun trip to kick off the summer. It’s so close to the beach and boardwalk, and located near tons of shopping and restaurants. The garage and parking spot behind the house was so helpful and convenient, with easy access through the alley. Their house was stocked with supplies and entertainment, including starter paper products. The 3 full bathrooms were much appreciated! Kay and Bill were very friendly, provided detailed instructions, and were great communicators. They obviously take pride in ownership, and it can be seen in the details, quality, and cleanliness of the condo, amenities, and decor. Everything was perfect, and we’d definitely book again!

Property was clean and well maintained. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and supplies. Would rent again when in Ocean City.

The home is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the beach and boardwalk. That’s probably my only “positive” feedback. The home itself feels dated - knobs falling off cabinets, dirty old carpet, inadequate & mismatched kitchen wear (note: only 5 wine glasses for a listing suited for 11 people), the front door handle did not lock and basic amenities that were listed were missing (ex. Hairdryer).The internet was rarely working during our visit — in fact, I was unable to connect my work computer even once, and both my husband and I had to cancel meetings (a shame, given many other work remote as we do and rely on internet). The people upstairs were very loud (we heard them throughout all hours of the night) which was somewhat of a nuisance, given we have two toddlers. These details matter, especially for the rates charged. We have stayed in many wonderful properties in the vicinity over the past few years and luckily we’ve never had issues like this. I’d recommend the owners make some improvements and work to be more understanding & accommodating to their guests for a better experience.
