Our return to Camlann.

It's always lovely to return to this cottage. We keep coming back to Camlann because it is always spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the location is absolutely ideal for spending a few days exploring and visiting old friends and family. A very enjoyable stay in a cottage full of comfort and character. Terrific base for exploration.

Camlann is a charming small cottage centrally located in a historic and scenic village. Perfect for enjoying local walks. Street parking was abundant. A wealth of information about the area was provided. Self catering facilities were excellent. The private back garden complete with apple tree and birds was an unexpected pleasure. Thank you Clare.

We found the blinds difficult to release and fix when raised.

A perfect escape for two.

Whilst right in the centre of the peaceful village of Alyth and only a minute from the shops, Camlann is tucked away in a peaceful, secluded spot with a beautifully maintained rear garden to sit in the sun. Our focus was open water swimming (from Pitlochry to Loch Clunie) but we also found some beautiful local walks such as the Den of Alyth.

Very nice friendly village. The property was very clean and had everything you might need well equipped, cooker was easy to use and lots of tourist information. Bed was very comfortable. Small garden and lovely roses at front of property.

Beautiful quaint and quiet little cottage

Beautiful quaint little cottage off the main thoroughfare in a quiet square with communal garden. Private garden to sit out at the rear. Beautiful flowers in full bloom when we were there. The property was clean with a spacious bedroom and comfortable bed. Nice hot shower. A home from home.

Great to be back again! Cozy little cottage perfect for a base when visiting family & friends. Comfortable & spacious with all amenities required. Great location, centre of town & quiet. My sister enjoyed her stay & would seriously consider staying in Camlann again.

My sister & husband enjoyed the quiet location & appreciated the quiet comfortable central heating.

The need to have a smart phone/internet access to view the facilities instructions. You need a torch to find the door key hole after dark. Not clear/can't remember whether the outside light, when switched on, comes on at dusk or is permanently on until switched off.

Cosy cottage to escape and switch off for a few days

Due to COVID restrictions the host didn't meet us at the property but had been in contact before our arrival so we felt welcomed to the cottage. Excellent location just off commercial street and a very picturesque cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Large and very comfortable room and bed. Excellent shower and everywhere was spotless. The back garden with the trees and standing stones was a nice place to spend time. Alyth is a lovely town with everything you need. Lots of local walks and a great butcher's.

There was no extractor fan above the cooker so I was a little worried about cooking smells but we opened the 2 windows and back door and that solved the problem.

Fantastic gem of a little cottage

Loved our stay. Beautiful, quiet & peaceful cottage. More than big enough for two. Everything you need. Comfy King size bed, large bedroom, great shower, and lovely lounge/diner/kitchen with wood burning open fireplace & great appliances. Lovely furnishings, comfy couch & other furniture in keeping to the period of the mill cottage. Thanks for the fresh milk on arrival, great touch. Loved the peaceful garden, which was a little sun trap. Great hosts who kept in touch via messaging. Will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay whilst visiting family.

Pretty perfect, it met all our expectations!!

The cottage was lovely, a quiet location and served by a very nice town of Aylth. The cottage is a perfect size for two, and so quaint, furnishings suited the cottage so very well. I'm sure we will hopefully stay again. And of course a very pretty back garden.

Gemütliches, gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattete Häuschen

Liebevoll, schön eingerichtetes Häuschen. Schöne Bilder an den Wänden, sehr gute Ausstattung mit Geschirr, Töpfen und Besteck. Sehr bequemes Bett. Sehr ruhige Lage, netter Garten hinter dem Haus, große Wiese vor dem Haus, alles sehr gepflegt. Hotel Alyth, wo man gut essen kann, nur 100m entfernt. Supermarkt in nächster Nähe.

Ein paar zusätzliche Haken für Kleidung und im Bad wären gut. Es wäre schön, wenn man die schwergängige Toilettenspülung verbessern könnte.
