We stayed here for 4 days, parking isn't available but only minutes away, a bit bumpy and a slight hill until around the corner, lovely shared garden at the front and beautiful private garden out the back where I managed to sit and enjoy the spring sunshine. Spacious bedroom lovely and airy and cosy livingroom and kitchen, we took full advantage of the log fire, there was a small amount of wood etc but only lasted around 15 minutes so we went out an bought more and lit the fire later at night but still an extra expense.
There were piles of leaflets and folders with local amenities etc I actually moved them all to one area, they definitely need updated and some pur out, there also was the welcome folder with all the local emergency numbers and rules and regulations etc, to be honest felt there were too many dos and don'ts some even highlighted, what rubbish to put where, and if not it felt like we would be reprimanded, 🙄 and also when departing make sure you basically clean the bathroom, kitchen tops etc, I pride myself on leaving anywhere I stay clean and tidy, felt insulted 😬, lovely different bits and bobs everywhere but taking up space and areas where guests could use, lovely vintage crockery etc but not enough every day plates, bowls etc.

the location was great easy walk into center for meals etc. very close to two golf courses. Never used any of the cooking facilities as we ate out but they looked ok.
the shower was poor for taking a long time to heat up. This was known about from the property description brochure

It's always lovely to return to this cottage. We keep coming back to Camlann because it is always spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the location is absolutely ideal for spending a few days exploring and visiting old friends and family.
