Just beyond the harbor and close to the water. I appreciated the oscillating fan in our room.
Only one women’s and one men’s bathroom for 10-15 people. On the first floor, little air flow.

Clean, had a kitchen, very close to boat to Padrón.
Only one shower. Bathrooms should be labeled unisex.Needed a vegetable peeler in the kitchen.

This place is in a good central location in Villanueva with easy access to amenities (there are really no sights to speak of here) and the port (if you are opting for La Barca del Peregrino as part of the so-called Spiritual Variant, though there are closer and probably better options than this).
I first walked a Camino 20 years ago and this is the kind of place I found way back then. The bunk beds are flimsy and wooden with standard mattresses whereas nowadays dormitories tend to have steel bunks with sanitary mattresses. I'm therefore not convinced that these are either the most hygienic or practical. I got very little sleep here because I felt every move from the guy in the bunk above which shook every time he rolled over. This need not be the case. One toilet and one shower is insufficient to meet the needs of so many guests. The property is tight, cramped, and poorly ventilated.
