Beach & Hippie Chic Apartment for Happy People - Marbella - Calahonda

Lovely location right by the beach

The property didn't really suit our needs as I was working - computer/phone - and while I was working access to the pool area wasn't easy for my wife as the apartment is on the 6th floor. That said, this wasn't a reflection of the apartment.

Excellent location right on the beachfront. Light, bright and airy apartment with stunning sea views from the balcony and bedroom . Kitchen and entire apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed even though we ate out most of the time. The gardens and pool areas at the complex were beautiful. Pristine and very well maintained- the groundsmen were there every day tending to the gardens and pool areas. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend. Great communication from the host whenever we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again due to the location and excellent easy access to supermarkets, shops, and all the great bars and restaurants along the beach.

Air con a little noisy but didn’t detract from our stay.

This apartment is exactly as advertised. If you're not a "happy person" before you arrive, you will be whilst you're staying here! 😅 Before arriving at the apartment Tania kept me informed with all of the details i needed to know for my arrival. I was also given the contact details of the cleaner, Mari, who would be meeting me to give me access. I requested an earlier check in and this was kindly provided. We arrived by bus (from Fuengirola), which stops directly opposite the apartment complex (you take the bridge to cross) and Mari came out to meet us. She was immediately very friendly. The grounds of the apartment were very large with plenty of pools and benches to sit out and enjoy the view of the sea. The apartment is on the top floor and is accessible by a lift. Once inside you see it is just like the pictures - beautifully styled. The space is light and airy and all furnishings are of a very high standard. There is a balcony with a drop-leaf table and two chairs. The view of the sea is fantastic and the sound very relaxing. There is a lovely bedroom with a double bed and two sofa beds in the living room (I slept on one of these and found it to be very comfortable). All towels, bedding and also cleaning products (cloths, kitchen towels, liquid) are provided. The kitchen has everything that you would need, including a full size oven, hob and microwave. There is also a large fridge-freezer. Crockery, cutlery and utensils are all provided and are in good condition. You will also find some store cupboard items. There is a dining table with four chairs. The bathroom is large, clean and with a bath and shower. Hand soap is available. There are tvs in both rooms, although we never used them. There is a large Mercandona across the road where you can buy most things and we found it very reasonably priced. There are also bars and cafes/restaurants but we didn't try these.

There wasn't anything to dislike. Just as a note, it may have been helpful to have had 2 sets of keys. If taking the bus make sure to tell the driver you want the stop near Mercandona in Calahonda, not just Calahonda.
