Great location, if you’re ok with using the busier public beach access. It’s very convenient to grocery shopping, liquor store, drug store, etc. There are also a few near by restaurants.
My only complaints are that they scheduled the delivery of a new fridge while we were there. Our “heads up” was a text the day before stating Lowe’s would be swapping it out. Keep in mind, there was nothing wrong with the one we had. So, since we had food in the fridge, there were three times that maintenance and/or Lowe’s had to enter the house. First to move the fridge we had to the very small living room. Then the delivery. And last picking the old one up. I still don’t understand why they couldn’t have Lowe’s deliver it to them, and then let maintenance swap it out in the turn over window. The old fridge was the rentals loaner. But instead, we felt like we had to be at the house all three times. Now, the maintenance guys were amazing and so very kind…this is NOT a complaint on them. Rather a complaint on the one that was texting me all day while I was trying to enjoy the beach the day before. I even asked her why it couldn’t be done on Saturday since no one would be there. Her response was that it was because they were using a third party. A simple solution would have been to delivery it to the place that they keep the 10ish other loaner fridges and swap it on a day that the unit wasn’t being rented or while it was being cleaned. It just took a lot of our “vacation” time away from us.

The cottage was the perfect size and in a great location. Close to eatery, grocery store, beach and the free trolley stops. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

We had a great experience staying at the cottage. We were worried about the location at first but it turned out to be quiet and private even though it was located next to a restaurant and main road. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the property was well taken care of.

Location is good, about 1 1/2 blocks from public beach. Concierge very responsive. The unit is in need of lighting inside house and outside by pool area. Property should be stocked better with the following: hooks for clothes in obvious areas inside and by pool, towel bars, a mat and shoe tray given sand from beach, teaspoons, salt and pepper and two chairs missing from kitchen table (4 shown in VRBO picture but two were in the unit and 1 had broken back). Tile floors in unit were swept but not mopped so quite dirty. Washer and dryer in unit but dryer left black marks on white clothes.
