About this apartment rental
The apartment of about 120 square meters is located in the picturesque village of Marina della Lobra, directly by the sea, in a privileged and strategic position to reach the famous points of interest in Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Ravello, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, Vesuvius both by sea, departing directly from the small port under the house, and by land, with a private car or public transport. The apartment is very bright and spacious. On the upper floor, there are the bedrooms, renovated in February 2023 with new beds, a walk-in closet, and nightstands, both equipped with air conditioning and sea views. There is a service bathroom (Note: without a shower) with a washing machine, and finally the two terraces. One overlooks the entire Gulf of Naples, from the island of Ischia to Vesuvius and the other overlooks a garden. On the lower floor, there is a large and very bright living room, equipped with air conditioning and a large window overlooking the small port. There is an area with armchairs and the sofa available from February 2023, which can be used as a double bed if needed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. And finally, the bathroom, equipped with a spacious and modern shower. Free Wifi throughout the house. The apartment has independent heating with three heat pumps, one for each bedroom and one in the living room. There are also radiators in the rooms and bathrooms, and a portable heater. It is important to know that the apartment is located on the third floor of a building without an elevator. To reach it, you need to climb quite a few stairs.

Lovely three day visit! We enjoyed the quiet and quaintness of this location yet close to all the Amalfi Coast sights. Francesco was so helpful and kind. He arranged our boat tour to Capri and we docked a boat just steps away from the apartment. We would recommend staying in Massa Lubrense!

The VRBO is very nice, just as the pictures showed. We enjoyed sitting on the upper patio deck overlooking the harbor. Francesco was very helpful and helped with a boat trip to the Amalfi coast, as well as Capri. Since we were staying right on the harbor, we only needed to walk down to the boat!
We had trouble with the buses. We were under the assumption they ran every hour from the harbor, but they do not! Staying at the harbor is somewhat remote. You will need to catch a bus from the harbor to Massa Lubense main part of town (about a 30 minute walk uphill) and then catch a different bus to go to Sorrento or wherever you need to go.
There are at least 3 restaurants that were very good on the harbor. Also, two very small markets to get some essentials.
I highly recommend Relais Del Mare for a low key place to stay. Just be aware of the bus times. And, they will not wait for you. You have to be there when they pull up, or they just leave.

There are not enough words to express how magical our stay was at Franceso's apartment! To begin with, Francesco was ESSENTIAL in booking all of our excursions and drivers. I came to him with only a vague idea of what my group wanted to do during our stay, and Francesco went above and beyond providing options and helping to book the tours once we had chosen. He also arranged drivers to pick us up and bring us to the airport/train station at the end of our stay. I can not emphasize enough how kind and attentive Francesco was and how easy he made our plans and travels.
The apartment itself is wonderful - clean, bright, in a PERFECT location! We were a group of 6 girls and came with QUITE a bit of stuff, but we felt very comfortable with the amount of space. There is easy access to the water where we swam multiple times a day. We also HIGHLY recommend Angelo's for any and all meals/aperitivo - they were so hospitable and wonderful we ended up eating most of our meals there! Additionally - Giovanna, one of the owners, set us up with a private sunset cruise on our last evening! Her brother owns a boat and was able to give us a wonderful price, complete with fresh cut fruit and prosecco on the boat! This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
The TLDR: If you are thinking about booking with Francesco - DO IT! You will not regret it!

Beautiful place . Great location . Amazing views. Groceries, restaurants, beach , and boats steps away. Booked boat trip with Captain San Pietro company . Ask for Carmine . We were able to board right below the unit . 10/10 stay !
