Rough area, rough room 7

Very rough property which was an HMO ( house of multiple occupation ) only redeeming thing was the price

Disappointed.

There was a fan heater which I used. The room was quite. I slept soundly. 4 plugs available. 10 minute walk to Macdonald's, 5 guys and other food/shops. Easy to book and get information to get entry to the room.

Someone who previously occupied the room smoked in room 2. There were a few dog ends on the floor and the room had a smoke smell to it. The shower on the first floor had cable ties intended to hold the shower head on the wall but this didn't work. It was a handheld shower for me. The shower function worked about 25%. Most of the water came through the tap. The toggle function between tap and shower did not work. I expect it's a damaged or worn rubber seal. Shared kitchen not clean.

We had to leave two minutes after arriving as it was the room from hell

It was a dirty room with no means of locking. There was a half finished tin of beer on table. Strong smell of drugs and an insane laughter coming from next room. A hooded man followed us out and we left after 2 minutes and ended up in a travel lodge. It was the dirtiest place you can imagine and after my holidays I will be making a request for money back as was too scared to stay. You should be ashamed for even having it on your books

Room was dirty and untidy. Bathroom we're not clean and smelly. I didn't stay even 5 munits. I booked for 4 nights attending the Labour Party conference. I have booked it again and spend twice. I want to get a refund. I am extremely unhappy . I WOULD LIKE TO GET REFUND.

One shared (gross by the end of the day) bathroom between seven rooms. Had to walk down three flights of steep rickety stairs to get to it. Whole place smelled of weed in the evenings. Room smelled musty and was very shabby. Location very noisy.

Filthy place

Bed was comfortable enough

This place was DISGUSTINGLY filthy (see photos). I know its a budget room, but you expect it to be clean at the bare minimum. Unidentified brown substance smeared on multiple walls, cigarette ash on the stained windowsill upon arrival. Things such as light fittings were absolutely caked in dust, and the shared toilet had about a quarter of a pint of water mixed with poo in the toilet brush holder. I wouldn't have let my dog stay here.

Unfortunately there was nothing to like about the property.

The house is in a poor state. The room we stayed in was dirty, smelt of smoke and stains on the walls. The bed was grubby and the skirting boards had thick dust on. The kettle was disgusting. We were supposed to have a hairdryer in the room as well as toiletries, but we didn’t have any. The room door was hanging off its hinges and the metal threshold plate was bent and wouldn’t allow the door to shut properly. One of the plug sockets had sellotape all over it. The communal bathroom was just a grubby and in need of a good clean. The sink was blocked and dirty all round the edge. Again, stains everywhere and dust on skirting boards.

The distance between the property and anfield stadium

Was not worth £154 for two nights. We booked two rooms and in both rooms the beds were bricks, there was marks on the mattress, little beasties crawling about the floor. My 3 month old baby got bit by something and ended up with a rash. My dad couldn’t stop scratching. Mould all up the curtains. Flies everywhere. We had to leave early as there was no possible way I was allowing us to stay there one more night. Especially not my baby. Was not worth the money at all

House holder which came to the hotel at 8:00am and took over the citchen with her stuf so we can't have a proper breakfast and at 10:00 am she was running around the hotel and shouting get out of here Also we were late for the check in so my grandson called the oners as I was and they suspected my 13 year old grandson that he was liing and threatened him tha they will call the police

Place was decent for my stay, it was quiet and peaceful. Happy to have some facilities such as a washing machine. It was mostly clean. Also easy to access and checkout.

I got creeped out on the first day, but not sure if it was imagination or not. I went toilet but left my door unlocked to my room. I heard footsteps and as I remembered I left my phone behind, I ran upstairs to my room and my window was wide open like someone had been in there. All my stuff was still there but I was spooked. Not sure what happened here. Definitely heard foot steps though.

I didn’t like any thing in the Guest house .The location is on a street but the house and environment is disgusting it looks like abandoned property. Inside the room we were given it was dusty, floor was dirty, there was cob webs. The bed sheets were dirty like it hadn’t been washed same with the pillows the chairs were also dirty in the crevices and also dusty. You could hear everything that was going on in other rooms and in the corridors in the night a lot of talking. The communal space the kitchen was unusable the fridge was dirty and stunk! The bathroom was the worst there was spiders and some of the tiles were missing sink and toilet so dirty I was scared to use them. The shower was extremely dirty the floor of the shower was so dirty I had to wear slippers whilst showering there was mould next to the toilet I had to clean it.

We only like the price! From the moment we arrived, even the code for the key didn't work (we stood at the door for 30 minutes!) After which it turned out that the room is a real dump! Nobody even changed the sheets! The beds were so dirty as if someone had slept in them for a month! there were brown stains on the bed sheet, then that night I called 'staff' 9 times and wrote complaints but the Man read them on the what'up and going on and didn't answer! We arrived from London and it was already night and I had nowhere to put the children. The towels were also dirty and stained. Had to put our jackets on top of the sheets to get through the night it was very cold I think it's a bit of a shame that Booking. com advertises a place like this!
