Villa Biriculi

Sehr schöne Lage im Tal. Atemberaubender Blick auf die Berge rundherum. Hübsches geräumiges Häuschen. Sehr ruhig und abgeschieden.

Das W-LAN war schlecht. Sobald man ein Fenster oder eine Tür geöffnet hat, um die schöne Luft hereinzulassen, kamen unzählige Fliegen herein. Aber am meisten gestört hat uns die Regelung mit dem Müll: bereits direkt nach dem Selbstcheck-in erhielten wir mehrere PDF per WhatsApp mit Regeln! U.a. zur Mülltrennung und Entsorgung. Selbstverständlich trennen wir, wie zu Hause auch, unseren Müll! Jedoch gab es im Haus keine Mülleimer. Der Müll sollte in ein Eco-Center gebracht werden, ansonsten drohte eine Strafgebühr von 40€. Das Eco-Center war 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und hatte auch wechselnde Öffnungszeiten.

The host was super helpful, he was just 1 phone call away. There was a lot of peace, quiet and stars at the location, so if you are looking for that kind of accommodation, then this is it. It is just a short distance from Cala Gonone(15-20 minutes), so things like supermarkets, restaurants and other pharmacies aren't too far away. Perfect for 2 couples or a small family.

The bathrooms could have had a bit more things like toilet paper and soap in them.

Superb house layout and interior. One room has its own bathroom. Very good equipped, very comfortable to stay! Bio winery just few steps away, fresh air, calm and quiet. Green around. Nobody disturbs you, owners live nearby and in the evenings do some work in their cute gree garden. But they never intrude your area and do not disturb. They speak Italian and French, no English which was a kind of funny challenge. But the servicing young man who is your contact person does speak English so no problem with this.

Owner has quite a few cats (I guess 10+) which are apparently not fed enough. On one hand it's fun to feed them, on other hand they are not ashamed to steal your food you might leave on the table on the terrace. Be careful with them. Another issue is another part of the house isn't finished yet. It doesn't really affect your comfort really but it just doesn't look good and the cats live in that part.
