A beautiful building steeped in history. The apartment was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a separate kitchen, laundry room and an amazing terrace, which was like stepping back in time, with doves and parakeets all around the mature gardens. Despite being located bang in the middle of everything, with restaurants, shops etc on your doorstep, it was surprisingly peaceful at night and I slept like a log. It was a lovely walk down to the seafront and the train station was also walkable. The host was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend staying here, I loved it!

If you have a large car, the road leading to the parking might be tricky. Tip: Bring mosquito spray because you might want to sleep with open window.
