Lovely spacious clean apartment with great views. Be prepared for a steep climb (about 15minutes) from Pinhao but all Douro villages are build on hills ! You can get a taxi/bolt but sometimes hard to get. Overall a great stay.

What a great location. The view almost redeemed the other issues. It was very clean.

Beware!! The property advertised three bedrooms but we were asked prior to stay if we needed one or two bedrooms made up. We relied that we would sleep in one room. They locked off the other bedrooms. I have never in our extensive travels had bedrooms locked off. We called the host because the bedroom was very small and we wanted to lay our luggage out in one of the other bedrooms. She said she would have cleaner unlock another room the next day. Unfortunately she unlocked an upstairs room and all of our stuff was downstairs. There was a room right next to ours that could have been unlocked. The bed was extremely firm. This property is so close to being fantastic but they have a couple of huge misses. I hate giving bad reviews but just couldn’t overlook these items. We rented it over three other properties for our stay because it was three bedroom. I host our home when we travel and would never lock off any of our four bedrooms based on the group size.

Everything, it was all wonderful.

There is nothing to dislike, it’s all gorgeous.

A beautiful view of the river. Lots of bedrooms with access to the balconies. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook meals.

It was very cold in the place when we arrived. No heat was on. Within a few hours of arriving we started to see a lot of condensation on all the windows. I think if there was a bit more heat while no one was in the place, then our breathing would not have created so much. It was very cold in there for the time we were there. The condensation was awful.
