About this cabin rental

Very pet friendly cozy cabin located 3/4 mile of city center. Large decks and completely fenced in back yard for your fur babies (No extra charge for pets). The entire backyard is enclosed with a 6 foot wood fence for both privacy and the safety of your pets. Chain link fences are no match for neither your privacy or the safety of your pets if there is a wild animal in the area. Fur babies love it too! This is a sister cabin of Whispering Pines, which is located less than a half mile away.

This was perfect for my dog and I, and a friend who came for one night. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, I felt extremely safe and felt safe with my dog in the fully fenced backyard. Was a very quick drive to town and only ten minutes to the Ernie Maxwell trailhead. Jay was an excellent host. I would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Pines was a perfect cabin size for me and my two pets. It is clean, neat, comfortable and has the most adorable cabin-y decorations. I love them all. The host supplies everything you need - including a hair dryer, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and everything you need for food preparation. The cabin has a nice backyard too - and for the first time in my life, I saw baby squirrels. The location is perfect. It is very close to Inspiration Point and 5 minutes away from town and restaurants. The Idyllwild Nature Center is just 10 minutes away. Most importantly, the host is very helpful and responsive. You will enjoy Peaceful Pines and Idyllwild!

House is the perfect size for a couple getaway, and for us our 1 dog. Located just outside the village, in a super quiet neighborhood. The main living area is spacious, and has the bed, sofa, and small dining table. Out back is the kitchen and bathroom. Decent size yard that is truly fully fenced in that you can safely leave your dog. Plenty of squirrel watching! This place is great value and well recommended. We'll be back!

Me and ny wife came up to Idyllwild just to kinda get away and this cabin was perfect. Very relaxing, cozy and great for our dogs. The kitchen was pretty well stocked(pots, pans, utensils, etc). The yard is completely fenced so the dogs got to run around and we didnt have to worry about them going off into the woods. And finally, Dan the owner was super accommodating and very nice.

We had the best trip ever. This cabin is awesome from the front door threw out and the backyard was amazing. The inside of the cabin is beautiful decorative and makes you feel like you are truly in the woods. The fireplace is awesome and Jay gives you all the free wood you could ever burn. I had a lovely relaxing time at the cabin with my dog.. the yard is fully fenced so extremely safe for my dog to explore. There were some lovely walks in the neighborhood and Idyllwild shops and restaurants are just a few minutes drive. The cabin had everything we wanted in the kitchen and a nice comfortable bed. Jay, the owner, was highly efficient in communicating and made sure my dog and I had a comfortable stay. I would recommend this cabin for anyone who likes a nice relaxing, restful stay - iits also close to many hiking trails.

This was our first time away from home with our 4 month old Lab puppy. The house was great. The yard was bigger than I expected. Very clean with bird feeders and squirrels running along the fence. The house had everything we needed. One thing most places lack is a comfortable reclining chair. There is a double reclining chair here. Very comfortable stay. We will be back.
