About this house rental
Welcome to "Port of Call." The only thing missing is You and Your Boat! And You are in the premier location, just off Tavernier Creek with excellent access to the Bay or Ocean. The canals are clean, clear and perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. The 60' dock, with electric & water is on the Shaded side of the canal at the end of the day! The Chickee hut, with outside TV, offers another great outdoor area to relax. Or you can check out the hammock and lounges under the palms. Before heading up, enjoy the private Outside Shower with Hot & Cold water.
The Main floor's large Living room (sleeper couch), Dining room and Open Kitchen have great views. There's plenty of room to serve everyone from the well-stocked completely updated kitchen- with all new stainless steel appliances. Three sliding glass doors completely open to the outside screened patio and more seating areas to enjoy the view. The Guest Bedroom offers a queen bed. In the entry hall is the Guest Bathroom with shower. The Master Bedroom suite has a king size bed and opens to the Master bathroom with shower. The Master bedroom opens on to a private veranda overlooking Tavernier Creek.
The ground floor has covered parking and there's plenty of room for your boat trailer. One of the favorite places to relax is also here at the fire-pit dining table, that seats eight. (The fire pit also converts to cold drink storage!)
The Downstairs Room is the Angler's Retreat, with an Air-Conditioned area for rod and tackle storage, as well as a half bath. This room has an additional sleeping area, with queen size bed and sleeper couch. This large room has plenty of storage and an extra refrigerator and bait freezer.

We brought my daughter for her graduation (college masters program) trip. The home is located near many activities. It is only 2 hours to Key West. We really came for the fishing so we stayed mostly in Islamorada. The neighbors were even super friendly! The home was supplied with so many things you need on a daily basis! The outdoor space was so relaxing. Oh, the outdoor shower was the best! I also am positive I asked the owner a hundred questions about the area and she was always quick to respond! The beds were very comfortable which is super important as we were exhausted every night!

The property was amazing! Wonderful outdoor living spaces with comfortable seating. We had a blast and will recommend this property to anyone who enjoys the outdoor spaces. The kitchen was perfect with all necessary amenities and I don't think anyone in our group took a shower inside all week. The outdoor shower was the talk of the vacation. My kids were upset when we got home and had to shower inside. We truly enjoyed our vacation and will visit again.

I was so lucky to find this property after other plans fell through. The location on a deep clean canal was amazing and the house was comfortable and clean. The tiki hut on the patio was our go to for sundowners! The check in process couldn't have been easier and the owners were amazing. It was perfect for our family ranging in age from 8-63!
