Nestled in a peaceful secluded corner (end of block- no car traffic) of Hammer Point, this property faces the calm bay with a spectacular sunset view at the grasp of your hand. You will feel as if you are in your own private resort. Recently remodeled. The property sets in Hammer Point on the gulf side (MM 93.5), just minutes away from access to the greatest fishing waters (via Tavernier Creek). If you love adventure, natural beauty, paddle boarding, kayaking or just relaxing while enjoying a glass of wine or reading book while gazing at a picturesque sunset, this is the destination for you!
This vacation rental is located on a large (end of block)-lot in one of the more desirable neighborhoods of the Upper Keys. Just minutes to the Tavernier Creek Cut, your gateway to the world greatest fishing waters. This home sets on the waterfront facing the beautiful bay. It is lavished with plenty of living space, this 2 bedroom 3 bathroom home is fully equipped for a vacation one can only dream of. Its 2 kitchens are fully equipped and the property has a wide panoramic view of the bay. The amenity list is long to say; television all over the house, a patio bar, a beautiful spacious gazebo (with fire pit) perfect for sipping a Pina Colada or two while enjoying a beautiful sunset, fishing areas all around, very clean ocean water to swim in, fish cleaning station and shower, deep canal, and very clean, and the list goes on. How can I describe Heaven on Earth?! It’s so alive & beautiful here! Pelicans, Manatees, Cormorants to name some of the wildlife you can see here from the 2 provided kayaks, sitting on the screened in porch overlooking the bay or down at the waters edge. If the winds pick up that’s exciting too. Mostly we’ve been blessed with sunshine! This place hands down felt like home! What was important to me first was a private setting with open water view, comfortable king bed & comfortable living room & porch furniture. This home also had 2 recliners which helped me recover from back surgery as if I was home. The kitchen is well stocked with a large pantry & the host provided full size products for kitchen, bath & laundry. Most paper products were also provided. There is a second refrigerator downstairs as well as a large capacity stacked washer & dryer. Other pluses a Smart TV, reliable WiFi, & outdoor fire pit under the gazebo! I must mention that there are 15 steps up to the main entrance to build those leg muscles! The nearby restaurants in Key Largo, Tavernier, Islamorada are amazing! We recommend The Fish House, Snappers, Snooks, Hog Heaven(bbq) Puerta Vall Erta (Mexican). Mangrove Mikes. Best fish dip Buzzards Roost in Key Largo. Marathon 1 hr away The Sunset Grill ( for great food & sunsets)! John Pennecamp State Park is 10 minutes away. Don’t miss touring the Turtle Hospital!Thank you Jose for being a great host & sharing your amazing home!
