About this apartment rental
Mt. Crested Butte Paradise Condo, with balcony, providing great sunset views of the mountains and the town of Crested Butte below. This is a highly desirable end unit closest to the West Wall Lift. . Step outside the side door, walk 100 steps, pop on your skis and ski right to the West Wall ski lift, which you can see from the living room. Usually you can ski right to the side door during winter for a quick lunch or to finish your day on the slopes. For a soak in the hot tub after a great day of skiing or mountain biking you walk to the end of the heated hall and step just outside.
This condo unit was totally re-modeled in the spring of 2014 with new sound-proofing in ceilings and walls, new knotty alder doors and trim, new alder kitchen cabinets with granite tops, new fridge, new double oven/glass top range, new dishwasher, new microwave, new leather sectional and furniture, new oak hardwood floors throughout, new master bedroom furniture and dressers, new tile entry, new bathroom tile floors and cabinets, new guest tile surround soaking tub/shower, new master tile surround shower, new kitchen/bath fixtures, etc.... King beds in both the master and guest bedrooms. The Kitchen is fully equipped and well laid out making eating in a dream. Dishnetwork satellite TV with DVR- over 150 movies recorded on the DVR to watch! Roku wifi streaming available for on-line TV services.
The bus stops right in front of the complex in the winter, and at the end of the street in the summer. There is no need for a car once you arrive as the bus will take you to the main village of Mt. Crested Butte where you can access the Mt. Crested Butte ticket office and shopping, as well as the Town of Crested Butte for great restaurants and a grocery store. If you are flying in to Gunnison the Alpine Express shuttle service will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at the front door of this unit, or it is a 4.5 hour drive from Denver International Airport.
The Alpine skiing on Mt. Crested Butte has trails for all abilities, and back country opportunities for snow shoeing, nordic skiing, or AT skiing right out your door.
In the summer you can bike from the condo to some of best mountain biking trails in the U.S. Beautiful single track trail to town is at the end of the street. Beautiful hiking in the summer, and the wildflowers and alpine meadows accessible from this area are second to none. Truly paradise in the Rockies.
Parking for one vehicle is in front of 104's garage just below the unit, or in the parking lot at the south end of the building. Maximum of one vehicle is allowed on the property.

Having the end unit is simply amazing bringing in a ton of natural light! The condo has a very well stocked kitchen and the set up was perfect for 2 couples. Loved the ease of getting to/from the mountain and were able to come back for lunch everyday! The hot tub attached to this building was a plus versus other building in the complex. Would definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay near slopes. Was very clean and spacious. There is no garage parking and it says in the description "onsite parking options include a garage". More importantly, the gas fireplace was not working and that is a major thing that we look for in a ski vacation condo and one of the reasons we chose it. One last thing is that I would suggest that if you know a group is coming in to stay, that you warm up the house and/or change the thermostat schedule, because every day at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., the temperature no matter what it was went back down to 45 degrees. After a long day of skiing, you want to get in the condo and warm up and instead it was always freezing because left before 9.

This unit is well taken care of. Our stay was comfortable and just as expected. Communication was excellent and the unit was very clean.

Roomy condo is perfect for 4 people. It really could be ski-in, ski-out but the property is not maintained for safe and easy access out of and into the condo. It had not snowed for days and there were still big piles of snow blocking what would be the 100 steps path over to the west wall lift.
Other than this, Bryan has made effort to make this a comfortable place to stay. But you may want to bring your own towel for the hot tub as there is only one towel per person provided for our 4-night stay.
