Comfortable beds in a rambling old proprty surrounded by peaceful and quiet countryside.
Isolated location away from the social amenities of towns like Franschhoek. Property needs some attention. The bathroom door easily gets jammed. Poor kitchen facilities.

Apartment was clean.
Strong air-conditioning keeps the apartment cool in summer
No separate entrance for the house. Can walk into the owner's house through the front door.
Lacking a private garden or braai area.
Basic kitchen with only a microwave to cook meals. No stove/hot plates.
Ceilings are low and angled in places throughout the apartment. Knocked my head a few times during our stay.
