3 Bed 3 Bath Vacation home in Sylva

Super cute. Clean, quite well kept. Everything nice as I expected or hoped for.

Everything was exceptional. The only comment I might have is to add some lighting the living room and bedroom for a little on the dark side, but I’m not complaining a great time.

We loved the location, mountain views, and the peaceful, forested neighborhood. We appreciated the care the owners put into creating a cozy, lodge-like space. Original art and playful decor items all work together well for a tree house getaway. Thank you for providing dish ware, silverware and many mini appliances for cooking at the cabin. Your Historic billiards table is amazing..

Things we suggest to update include the towels, pillows, rocking chairs and extra lighting in the game room area. Also, it would be wise to have the cleaning service do a deep clean every quarter to get dusty corners and floors.

The view from the deck was awesome. The house has plenty of room. The den, as well as both bedrooms upstairs have access to the very large deck which is very nice. The bedroom downstairs has extra beds as well. We really enjoyed the game room downstairs and got to play games we haven't played in years.

We would have preferred a gas grill, but we had checked ahead of time and went prepared to use the charcoal grill. The steaks tasted great though it too a bit longer to prepare. Gas logs in the den would have been nice for the chilly mornings and evenings. The road leading up to the property is curvy and steep but again we went prepared, and it wasn't bad at all. We had requested and were actually granted an early check in though we were only notified a few hours before regular check in, so we were unable due to travel time to take advantage of it.

Scenery

Property could have been cleaned better. Sheets on one bed had spots on them. A lot of dust that was noticeable. Trash outside was full had to leave trash inside. Property never said there was stairs that would have been nice to know.
